PETROLEUM PIPELINES REGULATIONS 1964

NOTICE OF APPLICATION

NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to the provisions of the Petroleum Act 1937, the undersigned has applied to the Minister of Mines for a pipeline authorisation to convey natural gas by pipeline from the existing Palmerston North 76 mm lateral pipeline to a proposed new metering and pressure regulating station at Longburn.

Dated at New Plymouth this 15th day of October 1974.

NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL

Baths Improvement Loan $50,000

PURSUANT to section 38 of the Local Authority Loans Act 1956, notice is given that a poll of ratepayers of the Borough of Port Chalmers taken on the 12th day of October 1974 on the proposal of the above-named local authority to raise of loan of $50,000, to be known as the Baths Improvement Loan 1974, for the purpose of erecting a building over the swimming pool resulted as follows:

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was .... 231
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 309
The number of informal votes was ...... 9

I therefore declare that the proposal was rejected.

I hereby declare the result of the poll taken by postal vote, and closing on the 12th day of October 1974, on the proposal to change the system of rating in force in the County of Bruce, excluding the County Town of Stirling, from the capital value system to the land value system to be as follows:

For land value rating 500

I therefore declare the proposal to change from capital value rating to land value rating to be carried.
