County Declared to be an Area in Which Owners of Cattle
Shall Submit Their Cattle for Testing With the Brucellosis
Test (Notice No. 565 Ag. 20311)
PURSUANT to section 53 of the Animals Act 1967, it is hereby
declared that all the area (including boroughs and town
districts) within the Lake County shall be a specified area
for compulsory brucellosis testing, and as from 1 September
1973 every owner of cattle in the county shall submit his
cattle for brucellosis testing as often as and in such manner
as he may be required so to do by the Director-General
of Agriculture and Fisheries.

Describing the Boundaries of the Wellington Abattoir District
and Specifying the Wellington City Corporation as the
Controlling Authority of the Wellington Abattoir (Notice
No. 568 Ag. 20002A)
PURSUANT to section 15 (4) of the Meat Act 1964, notice
is hereby given as follows:

1. The Wellington Abattoir District shall henceforth com-
   prise all that area for the time being comprised in the Cities
   of Wellington, Lower Hutt, Porirua, and Upper Hutt; the
   Boroughs of Eastbourne, Levin, Otaki, and Tawa; and the
   County of Hutt.

2. The Wellington City Corporation shall continue to be
   the controlling authority of the Wellington Abattoir.
