PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928 and
section 191 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, the
Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement
to that effect having been entered into, the land described
in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street diversion
purposes and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and
Citizens of the City of Christchurch from and after the
24th day of September 1973, together with the sewage
drainage easement reserved by transfer No. 434770, Canterbury
Land Registry.
