SECOND SCHEDULE

At each point in the area specified in the First Schedule where powered vessels are normally launched, there shall be erected a notice board measuring not less than 2 ft 6 in. by 2 ft painted bright orange with black lettering in the following form:

"NOTICE

MOTOR LAUNCH REGULATIONS 1962

Motor launches and water skiers may navigate at speeds greater than 5 miles per hour from 1 mile downstream of Lake Te Anau to Lake Manapouri between the hours of 7.30 a.m. and 7.30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays and between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. on other days of the week.

BATHERS KEEP OUT"

Crown Land Set Apart for Railway Purposes at Mount Maunganui

PURSUANT to section 25 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for railway purposes on and after the 3rd day of September 1973.

All that piece of land described as follows:

0 2 0.4 Part Section 2A, Te Awa-O-Tukorako Block, being (2033 m²) part of the land comprised and described in Gazette, 1888, p. 899.

Situated in Block VII, Tauranga Survey District.

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 26762 (S.O. 46859) deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Declaring Land Taken for the Purposes of the N.I.M.T. Railway (Utiku-Mangaweka Deviation) at Mangaweka

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject to Proclamations 595142 and 927443, for the purposes of the N.I.M.T. Railway (Utiku-Mangaweka Deviation) on and after the 3rd day of September 1973.

In the matter of section 338 of the Companies Act 1955, and in the matter of PACIFIC MINES LTD. (a dissolved company):

Notice is hereby given as follows:

  1. That on the 27th day of June 1973 it came to the notice of the Secretary to the Treasury that the mineral prospecting warrants referred to in the Schedule hereto, being warrants granted under the Mining Act 1926 and held by the above-named company, had vested in the Crown pursuant to section 337 of the Companies Act 1955;

  2. That on the date aforesaid application was received by the Secretary to the Treasury for the Crown's title to the said warrants to be disclaimed;

  3. That no such application as aforesaid was received by the Secretary to the Treasury with respect to the said warrants before the date aforesaid;

  4. That the Crown's title to the said warrants is hereby disclaimed.
