Clause 2 of the said Deed of Trust shall be replaced
by a new Paragraph as hereinafter set out: -
"The Trustees shall hold the trust land under the name
of the Vaughan Trust in perpetuity and without power of
selling the same except as hereinafter set out upon trust as
a site and endowment for Diocesan Conference Centre and
Retreat House for the Anglican Diocese of Auckland in
conformity with the provisions of this Deed." -
Paragraph 3 of the said Deed of Trust shall be replaced
by a new paragraph as hereinafter set out: -
The Trustees may in their sole and absolute discretion
set aside portion of the trust land from time to time not
exceeding a total of fourteen acres (14 acres) and from
and after the date of such setting aside the land so set
aside shall be known as the endowment land and the trustees
shall have in respect thereof the power of sale by private
treaty or auction and the powers of leasing and mortgaging
conferred by Clauses 9 and 10 hereof, and shall have all
other necessary and incidental powers to subdivide the endow-
ment land build roads thereon and generally develop the
same so as to render it suitable for exercising the said power
of sale and leasing in such manner as the Trustees may
deem most expedient.
Notice is further given that the Motion is to be heard
by the Supreme Court at Auckland on Tuesday the 25th day
of September 1973 at 10 o'clock in the forenoon and any
person desiring to oppose the Scheme is hereby required to
give written notice of his intention to do so to the Registrar
of the Supreme Court at Auckland and to the Trustees at the
offices of their solicitors undermentioned and to the Attorney-
General not less than seven clear days before the said date
of hearing.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
Notice is hereby given that the Ohakune Borough Council
proposes to execute a certain public work, namely, the
provision of additional oxidation ponds for its sewerage
scheme, and the provision of a right of way thereto, and
the provision of a sewer easement, and for the purposes
of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken.
And notice is hereby further given that it is proposed to
revoke the easement of right of way created by Proclamation
No. 941205. And notice is hereby further given that a plan
of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the
offices of the Ohakune Borough Council, Miro Street,
Ohakune, and is there open for inspection: that all persons
affected by the execution of the said public work or by
the taking of the said land should, if they have any objec-
tions to the execution of the said public work or to the
taking of the said land, not being objections as to the
amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same
in writing and send the written objection within 40 days
of the first publication of this notice to the Ohakune
Borough Council at its offices in Miro Street, Ohakune: and
that if any objection is made in accordance with this notice
a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the
objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised
of the time and place of the hearing.

All pieces of land being situate in Block VIII, Makotuku
Survey District, in the Borough of Ohakune and the land
Registration District of Wellington; as the same are more
particularly delineated on a plan marked S.O. 30018 deposited
in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Wellington, and thereon
shown as above mentioned.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
Notice is hereby given that the Mayor, Councillors, and
Citizens of the Borough of Rangiora propose to take, pursuant
to the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, the land
described in the Schedule hereto together with all improve-
ments thereon for "housing purposes and the use, convenience,
or enjoyment of streets" within the Borough of Rangiora.
Every person affected by the proposed taking or by the
proposed work is hereby called upon to set forth in writing
any objection he may wish to make, not being an objection
to the amount or payment of compensation, and to send
the written objection no later than Tuesday, 18 September
1973, being within 40 days from the first publication of this
notice, to the Town Clerk, Rangiora Borough Council, High
Street, Rangiora (postal address P.O. Box 102, Rangiora)
where a plan of the said land may be inspected free of
charge between the hours 9 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Mondays to
Fridays inclusive. If any such notice of objection is received,
a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the
objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be
advised of the time and place of the hearing.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land situated in the Borough of Rangiora
containing 1.45636 hectares (3 acres 2 roods 15.8 perches),
more or less, being part of Rural Section 1045, and being
the balance of the land comprised and described in certificate
of title register 382, folio 260, Canterbury Registry, limited
as to parcels, the said land being an area on the west side
of White Street, east side of Kinley Street, and directly
to the north of the former Oxford-Rangiora railway line,
Rangiora Borough.

WHANGAREI COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD
Notice is hereby given that the Whangarei County Council
intends, under the provisions of the Counties Act 1956, to
execute a certain work, namely, a road, and for the purpose
of such work the parcels of land described in the schedule
hereto are required to be taken under the provisions of
the Public Works Act 1928. And notice is further given that
a plan showing the parcels of land proposed to be so taken
is deposited at the office of the Council situated at Springs
Flat, Kamo, and may there be inspected without fee by all
persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the proposed work or by the taking
of the said land and who have an objection thereto must
state their objection in writing and send the same to the
County Clerk, Whangarei County Council, P.O. Box 4102,
Kamo, so as to reach him not later than 18 September 1973,
being 40 days after the first publication of this notice. If
any objection is received a public hearing of the same will
be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each
objector will be advised of the time and place of such hearing.
