BAY OF ISLANDS COUNTY COUNCIL
SPECIAL ORDER DECLARING LIMITED ACCESS ROADS
Pursuant to section 4 (2) of the Public Works Amendment
Act 1963, public notice is hereby given of a special order
declaring limited access roads in the County of Bay of Islands.
The said special order is as follows:
That the Bay of Islands County Council, pursuant to
section 4 (2) of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963,
hereby makes a special order to declare the following roads
to be limited access roads as delineated on the plans of the
District Planning Scheme of the Bay of Islands County:
a. Kerikeri Road: From S.H. 10 to the south-west Kerikeri
County Town boundary thereafter from the junction
of Honeheke Road and Kerikeri along the
said Kerikeri Road to the junction with Kapiro
Road.
b. Blackbridge Road, Paihia: Commencing at the boundary
of the Paihia County Town where it crosses the
said Blackbridge Road opposite the south-west
boundary of Te Ti B Block, thence towards Puketona
and past the eastern side of the Haruru Falls Road
for a distance of 40 chains.
c. Paihia-Opua Road: Commencing where the southern
boundary of the Paihia County Town crosses the
road, thence towards Opua until it reaches the English
Bay Road-Franklin Street intersection.
d. Opua-Kawakawa Road: Commencing at the English
Bay Road-Franklin Street intersection thence
towards Kawakawa, to a point where the old mean
high-water mark on the eastern side of section 37
intersects with the north-west boundary of the said
road reserve.
e. (Opua-Russell) Aucks Road: Commencing at the
vehicular ferry landing at Okiato, thence towards
Russell, for a distance of some 90 chains to the
point where the boundary between sections 15 and 16
intersects with the said road reserve.

We, the undersigned, being the auditors of the Auckland Savings
Bank, appointed in terms of section 29 (3) of the Trustee Savings
Banks Act 1948, report:
(1) We have examined the books, accounts, and vouchers of
the bank and have received all the information and explanations
we have required.
(2) We have verified the cash, investments, securities, and assets
of the bank as at 31 March 1973.
(3) The general manager has certified that, to the best of his
knowledge and belief, all requirements of the Trustee Savings
Banks Act 1948 and regulations thereunder have been complied
with.
(4) In our opinion, the above balance sheet and profit and loss
account are properly drawn up so as to give respectively a true and
fair view of the state of the Auckland Savings Bank's affairs as at
31 March 1973 and of the results of its business for the year ended
on that date.
