remain a member, the casual vacancy so created shall be
filled as soon as practicable thereafter by the appointment
or election of a member in the manner in which the vacating
member was appointed or elected, and the member
appointed or elected to fill the vacancy shall hold office
for the residue of the term of office of the member whom
he replaces.

(4) The powers of the Board shall not be affected by
any vacancy in the membership thereof.

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Railways hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement
to that effect having been entered into, the land described
in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for railway purposes
on and from the 16th day of July 1973.

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953,

of a meeting place for the common use and benefit of the
members of the Ngai Tamaoki hapu.
