Notice Varying Proclamation Setting Apart Land for the Purposes of the Maori Housing Act 1935

Whereas under and by virtue of a Proclamation dated 22 September 1972 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, dated 5 October 1972, No. 81, p. 2073, all that piece of land mentioned in the First Schedule hereto was set apart for the purposes of the Maori Housing Act 1935, and whereas it is now intended to revoke that Proclamation to the extent of the land described in the First Schedule, now therefore, the Board of Maori Affairs, acting pursuant to section 2 (1) (b) of the Maori Housing Amendment Act 1938, hereby varies, as from and including the date of the publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette, the said Proclamation by substituting the land described in the Second Schedule hereto for the land described in the First Schedule hereto.

Plants Declared Noxious Weeds Under the Noxious Weeds Act 1950 in the Borough of Queenstown (No. 502 Ag. 20649A)

Pursuant to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries under the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries Act 1953, for the purposes of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the following special order made by the Queenstown Borough Council on the 5th day of June 1973 is hereby published.

SPECIAL ORDER

"That pursuant to the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the following weeds be declared noxious for the purposes of the said Act:
Common Broom (Cytisus scoparius),
Gorse (Ulex, any species),
Hemlock (Conium maculatum),
Blackberry (Rubus fruticosus and Rubus laciniatus),
Sweetbrier (Rosa eglanteria syn. Rosa rubiginosa),
Nodding Thistle (Carduus nutans), and
Californian Thistle (Cirsium arvense)."

Exemption from Waybill Requirements of the Carriage of Parcels on Which the Freight has been Prepaid

Pursuant to section 109A of the Transport Act 1962, the Secretary for Transport hereby exempts from the requirements of that section the carriage of parcels on which the freight has been prepaid and to which are affixed freight-paid tickets.

Relicensing Albertland Co-operative Dairy Co. Ltd. to Occupy a Part of the Bed of the Te Hana Creek as a Site for a Pipeline

Pursuant to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Grant Stewart Ellis Milne, of the Ministry of Transport, acting under a delegation authorised by the Minister of Transport pursuant to section 9 of the Ministry of Transport Act 1968, hereby license and permit Albertland Co-operative Dairy Co. Ltd. (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the bed of the Te Hana Creek, as shown on plan marked M.D. 10610 and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a pipeline as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960 and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
(2) The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of August 1973.
(3) The renewal fee payable by the licensee shall be six dollars ($6) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be six dollars ($6); provided always that the Minister may review the annual sum payable at the end of the first year or any subsequent year of the said term.
