Declaring Land Taken, Subject to Mining Rights and Easements, for the Generation of Electricity in Block IV, Maramarua Survey District, Waikato County

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject as to the land firstly described, to the mining easements created by Conveyance 228019 (R. 224/287) and Transfer 71327, and, as to the land secondly described, to the mining rights and easements reserved by Transfer 67947, South Auckland Land Registry, for the generation of electricity from and after the 5th day of February 1973.

Declaring Land Taken for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes and to be Crown Land in Block VIII, Orahiri Survey District, Otorohanga County

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby: (a) declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for soil conservation and river control purposes from and after the 5th day of February 1973; and (b) further declares the land described in the said Schedule to be Crown land for the purposes of the Land Act 1948 as from the 5th day of February 1973.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby revokes the declaration dated the 19th day of June 1972, and published in Gazette, 29 June 1972, No. 53, p. 1336, taking land for road in Block V, Kairanga Survey District, Kairanga County, and declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Kairanga from and after the 5th day of February 1973.
