HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency
the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs the sale
of the land described in the First and Second Schedules
hereto, such land being no longer required for the purpose
for which it was acquired.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 14 acres and 4 perches
situated in Blocks XIII and XIV, Akatarawa Survey District,
Hutt County, Wellington R.D. being Lot 2, D.P. 32429 part

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 4 acres and 1 rood
situated in Blocks XIII and XIV, Akatarawa Survey District,

Appointing the Chairman of the National Roads Board

THE HON. N. E. KIRK PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS, by an Order in Council dated the 27th day of
January 1964 and published in Gazette, 30 January 1964,
Volume I, page 82, the Honourable Percy Benjamin Allen,
Minister of Works, was appointed to be the Chairman of the
National Roads Board:
And whereas the said Percy Benjamin Allen has resigned
from membership of the Board:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 4 of the National
Roads Board Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council hereby appoints
the Honourable Hugh Watt
to be Chairman of the National Roads Board.

Warrant Appointing an Additional Conciliation Commissioner
Under the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1954
DENIS BLUNDELL, Governor-General
PURSUANT to section 11 of the Industrial Conciliation and
Arbitration Act 1954, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby appoint
Urban Martin Devlin
to be an additional Conciliation Commissioner for the purposes
of the said Act for a period of 3 months as and from
the 5th day of February 1973.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General this 16th day of January 1973.

Port Conciliation Committee for the Port of Wanganui
Appointed
PURSUANT to the Waterfront Industry Act 1953, the Minister
of Labour hereby appoints the following persons to be the
Port Conciliation Committee for the Port of Wanganui for
a term of 1 year expiring on the 30th day of November
1973.
Henry Moody Hopper, Chairman;
Vernon Trevor Bennett, Geoffrey Guy Burgess, and Terence
Casey (nominated by the the New Zealand Port Employers' Association Incorporated); and
Thomas Roy Anthony, Edward Ernest Holly, and Patrick
Kevin Toohey (nominated by the Wanganui Waterside
Employees' Industrial Union of Workers).

Appointment of a New Member of the Maori Purposes Fund
Board
PURSUANT to subsection 5 and subsection (2) (ea) and (4)
of section 7 of the Maori Purposes Fund Act 1934-35, His
Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint
Pei Te Hurinui Jones
of Taumarunui to be a member of the Maori Purposes Fund
Board.

Robert John Mulligan, deceased.
