point; thence southerly generally by a right line across the

The Traffic (Waimea County) Notice No. 1, 1973


PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Trans-
port hereby gives the following notice.


NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waimea County)
    Notice No. 1, 1973.

  2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are
    hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the
    purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

  3. The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is
    hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area
    for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations

  4. The notice under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949,
    dated the 29th day of April 1958*, which relates to roads
    in Waimea County, is hereby revoked.


FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Waimea County at Riwaka:

No. 60 State Highway (Richmond-Collingwood) (from a
point 80 metres measured westerly generally along the said
highway from School Road to a point 1200 metres measured
southerly generally along the said highway from the said
road).

Green Tree Road.

Lodders Lane (from School Road to a point 50 metres
measured southerly generally along the said lane from School
Road).

School Road.

Wharf Road.


SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Waimea County at Riwaka:

Lodders Lane (from a point 50 metres measured southerly
generally along the said lane from School Road to the No. 60
State Highway (Richmond-Collingwood)).

Notice of Approval of Bylaw


PURSUANT to sections 8A and 165 of the Harbours Act 1950,
the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice that he
approves bylaw No. 16, Rotorua County Council Lake Waters
Control Bylaw 1971, Amendment No. 1, made by the Rotorua
County Council by special order and passed by the Council
at a special meeting held on 12 December 1972.

Taieri High School—School Added to List for Election of
Governors by School Committees


PURSUANT to clause 3 of the Order in Council* providing
for the constitution of the Board of Governors for the Taieri
High School, the Minister of Education hereby declares that
Mosgiel Intermediate School shall be an additional school
to which paragraph (g) of clause 2 of the aforesaid order
applies.

Declaring the Leasehold Interest in Land Taken for Railway

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Railways hereby declares that, a sufficient agree-
ment to that effect having been entered into, the leasehold
interest in the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby
taken for railways purposes; and also that this declaration
takes effect on and from the 18th day of June 1973.
