  1. The notice under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, dated the 3rd day of October 1961* which relates to roads in Piako County, is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Piako County at Tahuna:

Huia Street.

Ohinewai-Tahuna Road (from Tahuna-Waharoa Road to a point 16 chains measured westerly generally along Ohinewai-Tahuna Road from Rimu Street).

Rimu Street.

Tahuna-Waharoa Road (from Huia Street to a point 8 chains measured south-easterly generally along the said road from Ohinewai-Tahuna Road).

The Traffic (Rangitikei County) Notice No. 1, 1973

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Rangitikei County) Notice No. 1, 1973.

  2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purpose of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

  3. The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956.

  4. The notice under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, dated the 20th day of July 1954*, and the notice under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, dated the 7th day of March 1958†, and the notice under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, dated the 23rd day of November 1951‡ which relates to roads in Rangitikei County, is hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Rangitikei County adjacent to Marton Borough:

Calico Line (from the eastern boundary of Marton Borough to a point 320 metres measured easterly generally along the said road from the said boundary). Wings Line (from the eastern boundary of Marton Borough to a point 400 metres measured south-easterly generally along the said road from the said boundary).

SECOND SCHEDULE

TUTAENUl Road (from the northern boundary of Marton Borough to a point 800 metres measured northerly generally along the said road from the said boundary).

The Traffic (Christchurch City) Notice No. 1, 1973

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Christchurch City) Notice No. 1, 1973.

  2. The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

  3. The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 40-miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956.

  4. The Traffic Christchurch City Notices 1967, dated the 14th day of August 1967*, and notice dated the 23rd day of November 1967†, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, which relates to roads in Christchurch City, are hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Christchurch City at Ferrymead and Bromley:

Dyers Road (from Linwood Avenue to a point 50 metres measured southerly generally along the said road from Breezes Road).

Ferry Road (from a point 160 metres measured south-easterly generally along the said road from Charlesworth Street to a point 120 metres measured north-westerly generally along the said road from Humphreys Drive).

Humphreys Drive (from a point 400 metres measured north-westerly generally along the said drive from the Ferrymead Bridge to Linwood Avenue).

Linwood Avenue (from Humphreys Drive to a point 200 metres measured south-easterly generally along the said Avenue from Hargood Street).

Tunnel Road (from a point 100 metres measured northerly generally along the said road from Ferry Road to Linwood Avenue).

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Lake County) Notice No. 1, 1973.

  2. The roads within the area specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

  3. The notice dated the 23rd day of February 1967*, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, which relates to roads in Lake County at Wanaka, is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area bounded by a line commencing at a point on the southern side of the Wanaka - Mount Aspiring Road 680 metres measured westerly generally along the said roadside from MacDougall Street; thence south-easterly generally by a right line to the south-western end of Warren Street; thence south-easterly generally by a right line to the western end of Aspiring Terrace; thence easterly and north-easterly generally along the southern side of Aspiring Terrace to the south-western side of No. 89 State Highway (Queenstown-Wanaka); thence south-easterly generally along the south-western side of the said State highway to a point 80 metres measured south-easterly generally along the said roadside from Aspiring Terrace; thence by a right line across No. 89 State Highway (Queenstown-Wanaka) at right angles to its south-western side to its north-eastern side; thence north-easterly generally by a right line to a point on the south-eastern side of Stratford Terrace 50 metres measured southerly generally along the said terrace from Helwick Street; thence north-easterly generally by a right line to a point on the south-eastern side of No. 89 State Highway (Queenstown-Wanaka) 320 metres measured north-easterly generally along the said roadside from Ballantyne Road; thence north-westerly generally by a right line across No. 89 State Highway (Queenstown-Wanaka) and Aubrey
