Declaration that Part of the East Coast Bays Domain Shall be a Recreation Reserve and Revocation of the Reservation Over the Said Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that that part of the East Coast Bays Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve subject to Part II of the said Act, and further revokes the reservation for recreation purposes over the said reserve.

Declaration that Land is a Public Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Manawatu County Council on the 11th day of December 1972:

"That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 13 of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Manawatu County Council hereby resolves that the pieces of land held by the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the said County in fee simple, described in the schedule hereto, shall be and the same is hereby declared to be a public reserve for recreation purposes within the meaning of the said Act".

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve and Specifying the Manner of Disposal

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for recreation purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto and further declares that portion of the said land shall be utilised for road purposes, and further declares that the balance of the said land may be disposed of by the Christchurch City Council in exchange for other land to be acquired for recreation reserve subject to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953.
