Definition of the Purpose of a Reserve and Appointment
to Control and Manage

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the
Minister of Lands hereby defines the purpose to which the
public reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall be
dedicated, as a recreation reserve to be administered as a
recreation reserve by the Marlborough Sounds Maritime
Park Board.

MISTLETOE BAY RECREATION RESERVE

The Traffic (Manukau City) Notice No. 1, 1973

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Trans-
port hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Manukau
    City) Notice No. 1, 1973.

  2. The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby
    declared to be 40-miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the
    purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956.

  3. So much of the Traffic (Manukau City) Notice No. 2,
    1972 dated the 22nd day of December 1972*, under section 52
    of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic
    Regulations 1956, which relates to roads in Manukau City,
    is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Manukau City at Pakuranga:

Pakuranga Road (from Cascades Road to the western
boundary of Howick Borough).

Situated within Manukau City at Mangere and Favona:

Favona Road (from Robertson Road to a point 5 chains
measured south-westerly generally along Favona Road from
Forbes Road).

Orurangi Road (from a point 3 chains measured south-
westerly generally along the said road from Waipouri Road
to a point 24 chains measured northerly generally along
Oruarangi Road from Ruaiti Road).

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Buller County)
    Notice No. 1, 1973.

  2. The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby
    declared to be 40-miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the
    purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956.

  3. The notice under section 3 of the Motor Vehicles
    Amendment Act 1936†, dated the 10th day of February
    1958, which relates to Buller County, is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Buller County at Karamea:

No. 67 State Highway (Westport-Karamea) (from Beach
Road to a point 80 chains measured south-easterly along
the said highway from Beach Road).

Beach Road (from a point 4 chains measured northerly
generally along the said road from the No. 67 State Highway

generally along the said road from the said highway).

Control of Tokoroa No. 2 Secondary School

NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to section 51 of
the Education Act 1964 the control of Tokoroa No. 2
Secondary School has been vested in the Tokoroa High
School Board of Governors.

The Taumarunui Borough Council Water Power and Electric
Lines Licence 1963, Amendment No. 1

PURSUANT to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of
Electricity hereby amends the Taumarunui Borough Council
Water Power and Electric Lines Licence 1963* (hereinafter
referred to as the principal order) by adding to clause (e)
of the Third Schedule “and a branch pipe leading into
a second surge chamber 10 feet by 10 feet thence to the
power house giving a static head of 25 feet”.

The principal order is hereby further amended by adding
to clause (f) of the Third Schedule “and a second power
house with Kaplan turbines governor and generator for
generating electricity having a maximum capacity of
900 kilovolt amperes”.

The principal order is hereby further amended by adding
to clause (g) of the Third Schedule “and an additional
tailrace leading from the new power house to the Wanganui
River”.

The principal order is hereby further amended by adding
to clauses (5) and (6) thereof, after the words “on the
said plan N.Z.E.D. 597” the words “and its amendments”.

Licensing the New Zealand Post Office to Erect and Use
Certain Electric Lines

PURSUANT to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of
Electricity hereby licences the New Zealand Post Office,
subject to the following conditions, to lay, construct, put
up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule
hereto.

CONDITIONS

  1. This licence is subject to compliance with the Electrical
    Supply Regulations 1967, the Electrical Wiring Regulations
    1961, the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and all
    regulations made in amendment of or in substitution for
    any of those regulations.

  2. The systems of supply shall be as under paragraphs (d)
    and (e) of regulation 15 of the Electrical Supply Regula-
    tions 1967.
