Vesting of Reclaimed Land in the Bay of Plenty Harbour Board

PURSUANT to section 10 of the Tauranga Harbour Board Loan and Empowering Act 1968, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice that the land described in the Schedule to this notice has been effectively reclaimed from the waters of the Harbour of Tauranga, and such reclaimed Crown land is hereby vested in the Bay of Plenty Harbour Board for an estate in fee simple for the purposes of the Harbours Act 1950, subject to the provisions of section 59 of the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District, Tauranga County, being section 120, Block VII, Tauranga Survey District, containing 2 acres 2 roods 28.5 perches; shown edged red on plan marked M.D. 14931 (S.O. 46989) and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington.

The Traffic (Greytown Borough and Featherston County) Notice No. 1, 1973

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Greytown Borough and Featherston County) Notice No. 1, 1973.

  2. The road specified in the First Schedule hereto is hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

  3. The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956.

  4. So much of the notice under section 3 of the Motor Vehicles Amendment Act 1936, dated the 6th day of October 1937†, which relates to Greytown Borough, is hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Greytown Borough:

No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne) (from the south-western boundary of Greytown Borough to a point 5 chains measured south-westerly generally along the said State highway from South Street, and from a point 11 chains measured north-easterly generally along the said State highway from Kuratawhiti Street to the north-eastern boundary of Greytown Borough).

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Greytown Borough and within Featherston County adjacent thereto:

No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne) (from a point 11 chains measured north-easterly generally along the said State highway from Kuratawhiti Street to a point 33 chains measured north-easterly generally along the said State highway from North Street).

The Traffic (Amuri County) Notice No. 1, 1973

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Amuri County) Notice No. 1, 1973.

  2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

  3. The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 40-miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956.

  4. The notice under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, dated the 14th day of May 1954*, which relates to Hanmer in Amuri County, is hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Amuri County at Hanmer Springs:

Amuri Road.

Christchurch-Hanmer Springs Road (from a point 10 chains measured southerly generally along the said road from Bath Street to Conical Hill Road). Conical Hill Road (from the Christchurch-Hanmer Springs Road to a point 10 chains measured northerly generally along the said road from the Christchurch-Hanmer Springs Road).

Jacks Pass Road (from the Christchurch-Hanmer Springs Road to a point 50 chains measured westerly generally along the said road from the Christchurch-Hanmer Springs Road). Jollies Pass Road (from the Christchurch-Hanmer Springs Road to Dog Creek Bridge).

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Amuri County at Hanmer Springs:

Devon Street.

Dorset Street.

Jacks Pass Road (from a point 50 chains measured westerly generally along the said road from the Christchurch-Hanmer Springs Road to a point 12 chains measured northerly generally along the said road from Dorset Street).
