Immigration Act 1964—Exemption from Entry Permit Requirements


PURSUANT to section 19 of the Immigration Act 1964, the Minister of Immigration hereby exempts from the requirements of Part II of the Act (relating to permits to enter New Zealand) the classes of persons specified in the Schedule hereto.

Provided that the exemption shall not apply to any person specified in section 4 of the Act (relating to persons who are prohibited from landing in New Zealand); and provided further that the exemption shall apply in respect of the persons specified in item 2 of the Schedule hereto only if entry to New Zealand is made direct from Australia.


SCHEDULE

CLASSES of persons to whom exemption applies:

  1. Citizens of Australia.

  2. Citizens of other Commonwealth countries who have been granted permission to reside indefinitely without restriction in Australia.

National Roads Board—Notice Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road


It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 21 February 1973 and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of No. 1 State Highway (Awanui to Bluff) from its junction with Gray Street in Pukerua Bay to its junction with James Street in Plimmerton, as more particularly shown on sheets 1 and 2 of plan M.O.W. 35038 and the accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works, Porirua, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

National Roads Board—Notice Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road


It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 21 February 1973 and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno to Wellington via Gisborne) from a point opposite the north-eastern boundary of part Lot 1, D.P. 790, Proclamation 4008, near Petone, to a point opposite the south-western boundary of part Lot 8, Harbour District, Proclamation 791062, near its junction with No. 1 State Highway at Ngauranga, as more particularly shown on sheets 1 to 6 of plan M.O.W. 35041 and the accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works, Porirua, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.
