PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the
Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows.
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development
Notice Wanganui 1973, No. 2. -
The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is
hereby amended by omitting all reference to the land
described in the Second Schedule hereto. -
The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby
released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Acquisition of Land as Part of the Mangaokewa Gorge Scenic
Reserve
PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, notice is
hereby given that the land described in the Schedule hereto
has been acquired as a reserve for scenic purposes, subject
to the provisions of Part IV of the said Act, as an addition
to the Mangaokewa Gorge Scenic Reserve.

tions 1969*, the Secretary for Transport hereby gives
the following notice.

This notice may be cited as the Road Classification
(Woodville Borough) Notice No. 1, 1973. -
The Woodville Borough Council’s proposed classification
of the roads as set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby
approved.
SCHEDULE
Situated within the Woodville Borough:
Roads Classified in Class I
Bowen Street (from McLean Street to Grey Street).
Pollen Street (from McLean Street to Grey Street).
Station Road.
Tay Street.
Roads Classified in Class II

PURSUANT to the Agricultural Chemicals Act 1959, and to a
delegation from the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries
under sections 9 and 10 of the Ministry of Agriculture and
Fisheries Act 1953, for the purposes of the said Act, it is
hereby notified that the Schedule to the Agricultural Chemicals
Notice (No. Ag. 10487)* is hereby amended by adding the
products specified in the Schedule hereto.

National Roads Board—Notice Partially Revoking Declaration
of State Highway to be a Limited Access Road
PURSUANT to subsection (5) of section 4 of the Public Works
Amendment Act 1963, the National Roads Board hereby
revokes its resolution of 31 October 1968 pursuant to section 4
of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, declaring that
part of No. 56 State Highway (Palmerston North—Hima-
tangi) from its intersection with Kellows Line to its junction
with State Highway No. 1 at Himatangi Corner, as more
particularly shown on sheets 1 and 2 of plans M.O.W. 14726
and the accompanying Schedule held in the office of the
Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works, Palmerston North,
and there available for public inspection, to be a limited
access road, insofar as it affects a 1 chain width on the
northern side of the said No. 56 State Highway fronting
those portions of land shown as part Section 315, Town of
Carnarvon, C.T. 754/63, and part Section 315, Town of
Carnarvon, C.T. 488/52, on sheet 2 of the said plan M.O.W.
14726.

of Public Hearing Concerning Protection Affecting Radios
of Tariff Item 85.15.101

At the request of the Minister of Customs, the Board
hereby gives notice that the inquiry into the nature and
degree of protection necessary to protect the New Zealand
industry manufacturing radios classified in Tariff item 85.15.101
has been deferred. -
Accordingly, the public hearing set down for Monday,
19 March 1973 (Notice No. 302, New Zealand Gazette, dated
12 October 1972) has been cancelled.
