A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the generation of electricity.

The North Shore United Urban Fire District Order 1973, Amendment No. 1

ORDER IN COUNCIL

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Fire Services Act 1972, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

1. This order may be cited as the North Shore United Urban Fire District Order 1973, Amendment No. 1, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the North Shore United Urban Fire District Order 1970* (hereinafter referred to as the principal order).

2. (1) Clause 4 of the principal order is hereby amended by deleting the word “four” and substituting the word “five”.

(2) Clause 4 of the principal order is hereby further amended by deleting subclause (d) and substituting the following two subclauses:

“(d) One member by resolution of the East Coast Bays Borough Council to represent that Council,
“(e) One member, who shall be a member of the Waitemata County Council representing the riding in which Glenfield County Town is situated by resolution of the Waitemata County Council.”

3. Clause 6 of the principal order is hereby revoked.

PURSUANT to the Hydatids Act 1968, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

1. (a) This order may be cited as the Tuapeka Hydatids Control District Order 1973.
   (b) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.

2. The areas comprising the County of Tuapeka and the Boroughs of Lawrence, Roxburgh, and Tapanui, as from time to time constituted, are hereby declared to be united to form a hydatids control district to be called the Tuapeka Hydatids Control District.

3. The Tuapeka County Council is hereby appointed the hydatids control authority for the Tuapeka Hydatids Control District.
