Exempting Land in Nelson Land District from the Operation of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925
DENIS BLUNDELL, Governor-General
Pursuant to section 171 of the Coal Mines Act 1925, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, do hereby exempt the land described in the Schedule hereto from the operation of Part III of the said Act.

SCHEDULE
THE north-western half of Section 100, Town of Denniston, situated in Block VI, Kawatiri Survey District, subject to a right of way 1.22 metres wide along the boundary between part Section 100 and Section 101 for a distance of 25.15 metres south-easterly from Jamieson Street appurtenant to the balance of Section 100. All certificate of title Volume 10, folio 357, limited as to parcels (formerly R.S.L. No. 11352). Area, 505 square metres, more or less, plan No. 3524 deposited, Head Office, Mines Department, Wellington, bordered red. Save and excepting for Her Majesty the Queen all seams of beds of coal and all other minerals and metals, and reserving to Her Majesty the Queen and all persons legally entitled to work the said coal, minerals, and metals, a right of ingress, egress, and regress under the said land.

Flying Officer K. S. Campbell: with reference to the notice published in the Gazette, 11 October 1973, No. 95, p. 1951, for the name “K. S. Cambell” substitute “K. S. Campbell”.

Extension of Commission
The commission of Squadron Leader N. J. Wood is extended to 31 December 1977, followed by 4 years on the Reserve of Air Force Officers.
