The Traffic (Waikohu County) Notice No. 1, 1973
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of
Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
-
This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waikohu
County) Notice No. 1, 1973. -
The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby
declared to be a closely populated localities for the purposes
of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962. -
The notice under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949
and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956* dated
the 29th day of August 1960†, which relates to a road
situated within Waikohu County at Matawai, is hereby
revoked.
SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Waikohu County at Matawai:
No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne)
(from a point 100 metres measured westerly generally along
the said State highway from Kerei Street to a point
200 metres measured south-easterly generally along the said
State highway from Raumati Street).

Motu Road (from the No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-
Wellington via Gisborne) to a point 100 metres measured
northerly generally along the said road from the said State
highway).

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of
Transport hereby gives the following notice.

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Foxton Borough)
Notice No. 1, 1973. -
So much of the warrant dated the 20th day of December
1937† as relates to Foxton Borough under section 3 of the
Motor Vehicles Amendment Act 1936, as relates to Foxton
Borough is hereby revoked.

The Traffic (Kaikohe Borough) Notice No. 1, 1973
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of
Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
-
This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Kaikohe
Borough) Notice No. 1, 1973. -
The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are
hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed
by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962. -
The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are
hereby declared to be 40-miles-an-hour speed limit areas
for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations
1956*. -
The notice under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949
dated the 11th day of March 1958† which relates to roads
within the Kaikohe Borough is hereby revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Kaikohe Borough:
No. 12 State Highway (Ohaeawai-Maungaturoto via
Dargaville) (from the northern boundary of Kaikohe
Borough to the bridge over the Mangamutu Stream and
from a point 400 metres measured south-westerly generally
along No. 12 State Highway (Ohaeawai-Maungaturoto via
Dargaville) from Station Road to the southern boundary of
Kaikohe Borough).
SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Kaikohe Borough:
No. 12 State Highway (Ohaeawai-Maungaturoto via
Dargaville) (from the northern boundary of Kaikohe
Borough to the bridge over the Mangamutu Stream and
from a point 400 metres measured south-westerly along
No. 12 State Highway (Ohaeawai-Maungaturoto via Darga-
ville) from Station Road to the southern boundary of
Kaikohe Borough).

Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work (Railway
Purposes) at Arthurton and Not Now Required for That
Purpose to be Crown Land
PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Railways hereby declares the land described in
the Schedule hereto to be Crown land, subject to the Land
Act 1948, as from the 19th day of November 1973.
