The Traffic (Ellesmere County) Notice No. 1, 1973
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Ellesmere County) Notice No. 1, 1973.

The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 40-miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

The Traffic (Ellesmere County) Notice No. 2, 1970, dated the 11th day of February 1970†, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, which relates to roads situated within Ellesmere County at Springston is hereby revoked.
SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Ellesmere County, at Springston:
Ellesmere Junction Road (from a point 100 metres measured easterly generally along the said road from Leeston-Lincoln Road to a point 700 metres measured westerly generally along Ellesmere Junction Road from Leeston-Lincoln Road).
Leeston-Lincoln Road (from Ellesmere Junction Road to a point 650 metres measured southerly generally along Leeston-Lincoln Road from Ellesmere Junction Road).
Waterholes Road (from Ellesmere Junction Road to a point 160 metres measured northerly generally along Waterholes Road from Ellesmere Junction Road).

The Traffic (Waimate County) Notice No. 2, 1973
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waimate County) Notice No. 2, 1973.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 40-miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

The notice under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, dated the 1st day of February 1963† which relates to No. 1 State Highway and Blue Cliffs Road in Waimate County at St. Andrews is hereby revoked.

The Traffic (Waimate County) Notice 1968, dated the 1st day of July 1968‡ under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, which relates to No. 1 State Highway within Waimate County at Makikilu is hereby revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Waimate County at St. Andrews:
No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) (from a point 360 metres measured northerly generally along the said State highway from Blue Cliffs Road to a point 320 metres measured southerly generally along the said State highway from Thackeray Street).
Blue Cliffs Road (from No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to a point 400 metres measured westerly generally along the said road from the said State highway).
Thackeray Street.
Eliot Street.
Braddon Street (from No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to a point 320 metres measured easterly and southerly generally along the said road from the said State highway).
SITUATED within Waimate County at Glenavy:
No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) (from a point 240 metres measured northerly generally along the said State highway from the Glenavy-Tawai Road to a point 240 metres measured southerly generally along the said State highway from the said road).
SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Waimate County at Makikihi:
No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) (from a point 60 metres measured northerly generally along the said State highway from Makikihi Beach Road to a point 80 metres measured southerly generally along the said State highway from Frederick Street).

The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956.

The notice under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, dated the 10th day of April 1958*, is hereby revoked.
SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Inangahua County at Ikamatua:
No. 7 State Highway (Waipara-Greymouth via Lewis Pass) (from a point 1120 metres measured north-easterly generally along the said State highway from Coleden Road to a point 880 metres measured south-westerly generally along the said State highway from Coleden Road).
