The Traffic (Piako County) Notice No. 2, 1973

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited at the Traffic (Piako County) Notice No. 2, 1973.

  2. The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 40-miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

  3. The notice under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, dated the 15th day of June 1964, which relates to roads within Piako County at Te Aroha West is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Piako County at Te Aroha West:

Mace Road (from Te Aroha-Waharoa Road to a point measured 140 metres northerly generally along Mace Road from Te Aroha-Waharoa Road).

Te Aroha-Waharoa Road (from a point measured 300 metres north-westerly generally along the said road from Mace Road to a point 100 metres southerly generally along the said road from McKinley Road).

The Traffic (Timaru City) Notice No. 1, 1973

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Timaru City) Notice No. 1, 1973.

  2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

  3. The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be limited speed zones for the purposes of regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

  4. The Traffic (Timaru City) Notice No. 2, 1968, dated the 20th day of May 1968† under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, is hereby revoked.

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) (from Jellicoe Street to the northern boundary of Timaru City).

No. 8 State Highway (Timaru-Milton).

Claremont Road (from Wai-iti Road to western boundary to Timaru City).

Kelland Hill Road (from Pages Road to the northern boundary of Timaru City).

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) (from the northern boundary of Timaru City to a point 1300 metres measured northerly generally along the said highway from No. 8 State Highway (Timaru-Milton).

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Oroua County) Notice No. 1, 1973.

  2. The Roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

  3. The Traffic (Oroua County) Notice No. 1, 1969, dated the 4th day of August 1969† under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, which relates to roads situated within Oroua County at Ashhurst is hereby revoked.
