The Traffic (Hawke’s Bay County) Notice No. 2, 1973
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of
Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
-
This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Hawke’s Bay
County) Notice No. 2, 1973. -
The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby
declared to be 40-miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the
purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*. -
The Traffic (Hawke’s Bay County) Notice No. 2, 1968,
dated the 17th day of December 1968† under section 52 of
the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic
Regulations 1956*, which relates to No. 2 State Highway
and the Farndon-Pakipaki Road in Hawke’s Bay County
at Pakipaki is hereby revoked.
SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Hawke’s Bay County at Pakipaki:
Farndon-Pakipaki Road (Maraekakaho Road) (from a
point 60 metres measured north-westerly generally along the
said road from No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington
via Gisborne) to a point 400 metres measured north-westerly
generally along the said road from the said State highway).
Miriam a Road.
Te Aute Road (from No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-
Wellington via Gisborne) to a point 360 metres measured
north-easterly generally along the said road from the said
State highway).
The former No. 2 State Highway (from Anderson Road
to the terminating point of the said former State highway
260 metres measured north-westerly generally along the said
former State highway from Miriam a Road).

The Traffic (Napier City) Notice No. 1, 1973
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of
Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
-
This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Napier City)
Notice No. 1, 1973. -
The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are
hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed
by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962. -
The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is
hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes
of regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*. -
The road specified in the Third Schedule hereto is
hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area
for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regula-
tions 1956*. -
The Traffic (Napier City) Notice No. 1, 1971, and
dated the 20th day of January 1971 under section 52 of
the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic
Regulations 1956*, which relates to Napier City is hereby
revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Napier City:
No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne)
(from Hyderabad Road to the southern end of Pandora Road
Bridge).
No. 50 State Highway (Napier-Takapau via Fernhill) (from
Kennedy Road to a point 1400 metres measured northerly
generally along the said State highway from Kennedy Road).
Kennedy Road (from Downing Avenue to the southern
boundary of Napier City at the No. 50 State Highway)
(Napier-Takapuna via Fernhill).
Wharerangi Road (from York Avenue to the No. 50
State Highway (Napier-Takapau via Fernhill)).

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of
Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Mangonui
County) Notice No. 1, 1973. -
The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby
declared to be closely populated localities for the purpose
of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962. -
The notice under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949,
dated the 23rd day of March 1949†, which relates to roads
in Mangonui County is hereby revoked.
