ALL that area in the Wellington Land District bounded by a line commencing at the confluence of the Ongarue and Wanganui Rivers at Taumarunui and proceeding up the middle of the Wanganui River to and up the middle of Okupata Stream to a point distant 200 metres down stream from the Okupata drop-shaft of the Whakapapa-Mangatepopo Tunnel in Block VII, Tongariro Survey District; thence southerly along a right line to a point in the middle of the Whakapapa River distant 200 metres down stream from the Whakapapa intake of the aforesaid tunnel in Block IX, Tongariro Survey District, and along a right line to Trig. Station C Hauhungatahi, in Block V, Ruapehu Survey District; thence easterly along right lines to Trig. Station H Paretetaitonga, in Block XI, Ruapehu Survey District, to Trig. Station N Ruapehu, in Block XI, Ruapehu Survey District, and to Trig. Station 28 Manukaiapu, in Block XVI, Kaimanawa Survey District; thence south-westerly along right lines to Trig. Station XXIV, Te Rotete, in Block III, Moawhango Survey District, to Trig. PURSUANT to section 175 (2) of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Manukau City Council to reclaim from Pakuranga Creek, Tamaki River, an area of 3 acres and 30 perches, more or less, of Crown land; as shown edged red on plan M.D. 14544 and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington.

PURSUANT to the Water and Soil Conservation Act 1967 and the Local Government Commission Act 1967, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER

Title—This order may be cited as the Northland Catchment Area Order 1972.

Extension of Northland Catchment Area—The area described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby included in the Northland Catchment Area.

Special provisions affecting part of the newly included area—In respect of that part of the Northland Catchment Area that comprises the area described in the Second Schedule hereto (hereinafter referred to as the said area) the following provisions shall apply:
(a) The provisions of Part V of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941 shall not apply:
Provided that they shall apply to the extent of any agreement to operate the whole or part of the said Part V made with the approval of the National Water and Soil Conservation Authority between the Northland Catchment Commission and any territorial local authority having jurisdiction in the said area in respect of the whole or any part of the district of that local authority.
(b) The provisions of section 126 of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941 shall not apply:
Provided that they shall apply to the extent of any agreement to operate the provisions of such section made with the approval of the National Water and
WANGANUI ACCLIMATISATION DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Wellington and Taranaki Land Districts commencing at a point in the middle of the mouth of the Waitotara River in line with the mean low-water mark of the sea and proceeding up the middle of that river to and up the middle of the Mangaone Stream and along the southern boundary of Section 28, Block V, Nukumaru Survey District, to Trig. Station Wharekarangi; thence generally easterly along the eastern boundary of the said section 28, the south-western boundaries of Lot 3, D.P. 659, and the south-western and south-eastern boundaries of Lot 4, D.P. 659, to Waitotara Road; thence generally northerly along a right line across that road to and along the south-western and north-western boundaries of Lot 14 and the western boundaries of Lot 17, D.P. 918, to Trig. Station Orangihoangi in Block II, Nukumaru Survey District; thence easterly along a right line to Trig. Station Pakira; thence generally northerly along the south-western, western, and northern boundaries of Manganuiotahu Block (crossing intervening roads), and the western boundaries of Lot 3, D.P. 2765, and Lot 1, D.P. 2764, to the north-western corner of the said Lot 1; thence easterly along the northern boundary of the said Lot 1 and its production to the middle of Watershed Road; thence generally north-westerly along the middle of that road, Pipiriki Road, and Pokeko Road to the summit of the western watershed of the Wanganui River; thence northerly along that watershed passing through Trig. Station Maungarau in Block XII, Taurakawa Survey District, to Mount Humphries in Block III, Taurakawa Survey District; thence north-easterly along a right line in the direction of the confluence of the Tangarakau and Wanganui Rivers in Block XII, Mahoe Survey District, to the middle of the Wanganui River; thence generally southerly down the middle
