The Traffic (Hutt County) Notice No. 5, 1972

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Hutt County) Notice No. 5, 1972.

2. The road specified in the First Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956.

3. The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

4. The Traffic (Hutt County) Notice No. 1, 1972, dated the 24th day of July 1972 under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, which relates to Hutt County at Silverstream is hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Hutt County at Silverstream:
No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne)
(from a point 16 chains measured easterly generally along the said State Highway from Field Street to a point 6 chains measured westerly generally along the said State Highway from the said street).
Field Street (from the No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne) to a point 4 chains measured north-westerly generally along the said street from Kiln Street).

SECOND SCHEDULE

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Lower Hutt City) Notice No. 1, 1972.

2. The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

3. The Traffic (Lower Hutt City) Notice 1967, dated the 16th day of August 1967* under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, which relates to Wainuiomata Road is hereby revoked.

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Paparua County) Notice No. 2, 1972.

2. The road specified in the First Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

3. The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956.

4. The notice under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949 dated the 17th day of June 1958*, which relates to Church Road at Templeton in Paparua is hereby revoked.

5. The Traffic (Paparua County) Notice No. 2, 1972 dated the 4th day of June 1968† under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, which relates to No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) in Paparua is hereby revoked.

3. The notice under regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956* dated the 8th day of February 1965† and which relates to East Taieri in Taieri Country is hereby revoked.

4. The Traffic (Taieri County) Notice No. 1, 1972, dated the 11th day of July 1972†, regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, which relates to East Taieri in Taieri County, is hereby revoked.
