Authorising the Marlborough Harbour Board to Reclaim Part of the Foreshore and Seabed of Picton Harbour

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Marlborough Harbour Board to reclaim from Picton Harbour areas of 24 perches and 2 roods, 16 perches totalling 3 roods, more or less, of the Board’s endowment land as shown coloured sepia on plan M.D. 14704 and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport, Wellington.

Exempting Land in the Westland Land District From the Operation of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925

PURSUANT to section 171 of the Coal Mines Act 1925, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, do hereby exempt the land described in the Schedule hereto from the operation of Part III of the said Act.

SCHEDULE

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT—GREY COUNTY

SECTION 16, Town of Dobson, situated in Block X, Arnold Survey District: area, 1 rood, more or less, part deeds index M.S. 300 and all certificate of title, volume 3B, folio 1234, limited as to parcels (leasehold) (S.O. Roll Plan 2/81).

Save and excepting for Her Majesty the Queen all seams or beds of coal and all other minerals or metals, and reserving to Her Majesty and all persons legally entitled to work the said coal, minerals, and metals, a right of ingress, egress, and regress under the said land.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General this 10th day of October 1972.
