Declaring Land Used as a Roadway in Block IV, Tutamoe
Survey District, Bay of Islands and Whangarei Counties, to
be Road
RICHARD WILD, Administrator of the Government
A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 422 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, the
Right Honourable Sir Herbert Richard Churton Wild, the
Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby
declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, and used
as a roadway, to be road.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
All that piece of land containing 7 acres 2 roods 20 perches
situated in Block IV, Tutamoe Survey District, Bay of
Islands and Whangarei Counties, North Auckland R.D., and
being part Orakau Block; as the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 26572 (S.O. 47177)
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington,
and thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator
of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New
Zealand, this 12th day of September 1972.

Land Taken for the Wellington Airport in the City of
Wellington
RICHARD WILD, Administrator of the Government
A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, the Right
Honourable Sir Herbert Richard Churton Wild, the Administrator
of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim
and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is
hereby taken for the Wellington Airport, and shall vest in
the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington
as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare
that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the
25th day of September 1972.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
All that piece of land containing 18.64 perches situated in
the City of Wellington, Wellington R.D., being part Section
15, Watts Peninsula District, and being part Lot 5, D.P. 8272.
All certificate of title Volume 506, folio 177, Wellington
Land Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator
of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New
Zealand, this 12th day of September 1972.

Proclaiming an Area in the Borough of Petone to be
Reclamation Area Under Part II of the Urban Renewal
and Housing Improvement Act 1945
ARTHUR PORRITT, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 19 of the Urban Renewal and Housing
Improvement Act 1945, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim the area
defined in the Schedule hereto to be a reclamation area under
Part II of the said Act.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
All that area of land situated in the Borough of Petone
bounded on the southern boundary which measures approximately
235 feet by the present boundary of the reclamation
area in Britannia Street as defined by a Proclamation dated the
17th day of February 1965 and published in Gazette dated the
18th day of February 1965, No. 8, at page 215, and more
particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 19211
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington,
and thereon edged red (hereinafter called "The 1965 Reclamation
Area"), and on the western boundary for approximately
198 feet along the western boundary of the 1965 Reclamation
Area and thence running for approximately 220 feet along
the boundary of the Petone Tennis Club across Britannia
Street and there south along Britannia Street for a distance
of approximately 191 feet and 8 inches to meet the 1965
Reclamation Area, the boundaries encompassing No. 19, 21,
23, 25, and 27 Britannia Street and that part of Britannia
Street immediately in front of these properties.
The said area of land includes inter alia all part Lot 10,
Deeds Plan 109, being part Section 5, Hutt District, and part
Deposited Plan 9240.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked M.O.W. 26551 deposited in the office of the Minister
of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this
1st day of September 1972.

hereby taken for road; and I also declare that this Proclamation

1972.

All those pieces of land situated in Block XVI, Oteramika
Hundred, Southland R.D., described as follows:

0 1 1.6 Part Lot 3, D.P. 878, being also part Section 9;
coloured blue on plan.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked M.O.W. 26579 (S.O. 8071) deposited in the office
of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured as above-mentioned.

of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New

August 1972, you, the said Ernest Albert Lee, were appointed
to be a Commission to inquire into and report on the matters
referred to in the said Order in Council, relating to the
dismissal of the editor of the New Zealand Listener:
And whereas by the said Order in Council you were
required to submit your report not later than the 15th day of
September 1972:
And whereas it is expedient that the time for so reporting
should be extended as hereinafter provided:
