BOUNDARIES OF KARAKA RIDING OF COUNTY OF WAIKOHU

ALL that area in the Gisborne Land District, Waikohu County, bounded by a line commencing at the junction of the Pouarua Stream and the Waipaoa River, being a point on the boundary of the Waikohu County in Block VIII, Waimata Survey District, as hereinbefore-described, and proceeding north-westerly generally along that county boundary to the north-eastern corner of part Section 1, Block VI, Waikohu Survey District, along the north-eastern boundary of that section, the abutment of a river-bank reserve and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of the Wharekopae River; thence easterly generally down the middle of that river and down the middle of the Waikohu River to its junction with the Waipaoa River; thence southerly generally down the middle of the Waipaoa River to the point of commencement.

BOUNDARIES OF NGATAPA RIDING OF COUNTY OF WAIKOHU

ALL that area in the Gisborne Land District, Waikohu County, bounded by a line commencing at the easternmost corner of part Section 1, Block VI, Waikohu Survey District, being a point on the boundary of the Waikohu County as hereinbefore-described, and proceeding westerly generally along that county boundary to Trig. Station 2126, Maungapohatu, being a point on the south-eastern watershed of the Tauranga and Waimana Rivers; thence north-easterly generally along that watershed to Trig. Station C, Te Wana, in Block VI, Koranga Survey District; thence easterly generally along a right line to the north-western corner of part Lot 12, D.P. 1505, along the northern boundary of that lot to the southernmost corner of part Lot 6, D.P. 1500, along the south-western and north-western boundaries of that lot and the production of the last-mentioned boundary across Koranga Road to the middle of the Koranga Stream, up the middle of that stream to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 2127, in Block I, Ngatapa Survey District, to and along that boundary, the eastern boundary of part Lot 8, D.P. 1820, along the north-eastern boundary of Section 1, Block V, Ngatapa Survey District, to its intersection with the south-eastern boundary of Section 6, Block VI, Ngatapa Survey District, along that boundary and the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 5, 3, and 2 of the said Block VI, along the eastern boundary of the last-mentioned section and its production to the middle of Makaretu Road, along the middle of that road to its junction with the Wharekopae-Waikohu Road, along the middle of that road to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Section 6, Block VII, Ngatapa Survey District, to and along the said south-western and southern boundaries of the aforementioned section and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of the Ngatapa Stream, down the middle of that stream and up the middle of the Makaretu Stream to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Section 6, Block VIII, Ngatapa Survey District, to and along that boundary, the generally northern and north-eastern boundaries of the said Section 6, along the north-western boundary of Section 3, Block VIII, and its production to the middle of the Hihiroroa Stream, down the middle of that stream to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Wharekopae 2B2, to and along that boundary, the north-western and north-eastern boundaries of that block, along the northern boundary of Section 1, Block V, Waikohu Survey District, the western, southern, and eastern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 2248, and the generally eastern boundaries of part Section 27, Block I, Waikohu Survey District, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary across Hihiroroa Road, to and along the south-eastern boundary of Section 26, Block I, Waikohu Survey District, to its intersection with the south-western boundary of Section 8, Block II, Waikohu Survey District, along that boundary, the abutment of a river-bank reserve and along the south-western boundary of part Waikohu Block to the point of commencement.
