A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education
Lands Act 1949, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and
declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being
an area vested in the Taranaki Education Board as a site for
a school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed
and discharged from every educational trust affecting the
same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or ease-
ments affecting the same at the date hereof.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT—CLIFTON COUNTY
PART Section 6, Pukearuhe District, situated in Block VI, Mimi
Survey District, containing 2 roods and 13.8 perches, more or
less (S.O. 8542), and being the balance of the land in certificate
of title, Volume 129, folio 214, Taranaki Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this
27th day of July 1972.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie
Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 25th day of May
1965 and published in Gazette, 1 July 1965, Vol. II, p. 1045,
registered as Proclamation No. S. 318840, South Auckland
Land Registry, taking land for the development of water
power (Lake Taupo and the Waikato River Power Scheme)
in so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule
hereto.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL those pieces of land situated in Block XIV, Paeroa Survey
District, described as follows:

0 0 5 Part Lot 1, D.P. S. 236; coloured yellow on plan.
1 0 20 Part Lot 1, D.P. S. 33543; coloured sepia on plan.
3 1 27 Part land on D.P. 23713; coloured blue on plan.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked M.O.W. 19440 (S.O. 42116) deposited in the office
of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
as above-mentioned.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 41 of the State Services Remuneration
and Conditions of Employment Act 1969, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council and on the recommendation of the
Minister of Railways, hereby appoints Ernest Albert Lee, of
Auckland, as a deputy member of the Government Railways
Industrial Tribunal to act as Chairman of the Tribunal in the
matter of an application by the New Zealand Locomotive
Engineers’, Firemen’s, and Cleaners’ Association.

PURSUANT to the Fire Services Act 1949, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER
- The amounts to be paid by the uniting local authorities
to the Fire Board of the Palmerston North United Urban
Fire District, pursuant to section 53 of the Fire Services Act
1949, shall be in the following proportions:
Palmerston North City Council ..... ..... 90%
Kairanga County Council ..... ..... 6%
Oroua County Council ..... ..... 4%
- This order shall continue in force until the 31st day of
March 1975.
