Pursuant to section 51 of the Cinematograph Films Act 1961,

it is hereby notified that in the case of the following renters

I have modified, for the year ended 31 December 1971, the requirement to acquire not less than 20 percent of Commonwealth films:

Acquisition of Land as the Robert Hastie Memorial Scenic Reserve

Notice is hereby given that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been acquired as a scenic reserve, subject to the provisions of Part IV of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, to be the Robert Hastie Memorial Scenic Reserve.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

Pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a marae and recreation ground for the common use and benefit of the Maori people of Manukau.

Licensing Frank Brent to Occupy a Site for a Pipeline at Mill Bay, Mangonui Harbour

Pursuant to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, the Executive Officer, Harbours, Foreshores, and Pollution Section, Marine Department, acting under a delegation from the Minister of Marine and Fisheries, pursuant to section 265A of the aforesaid Act, hereby licenses and permits Frank Brent (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include his administrators, executors, or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of Mangonui Harbour at Mill Bay as shown on plan marked M.D. 10042 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a pipeline as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE CONDITIONS

(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960 and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

(2) The term of the licence shall be 2 years from the 1st day of August 1972.

(3) The premium payable by the licensee shall be six dollars ($6) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be six dollars ($6).

Notice of Approval of Bylaws

Pursuant to sections 8A and 165 of the Harbours Act 1950, the Executive Officer, Harbours, Foreshores, and Pollution Section, Marine Department, acting under a delegation from the Minister of Marine and Fisheries, pursuant to section 265A of the aforesaid Act, hereby gives notice that he approves the Manukau City Council Bylaw No. 8, 1967—Foreshore and Marine Control Amendment No. 3, made by the Manukau City Council by special order and passed by the Council at an ordinary meeting held on 25 May 1972 and confirmed at a special meeting of the Council held on 20 June 1970.

Notice of Approval of Bylaws

Pursuant to section 8A of the Harbours Act 1950, the Executive Officer, Harbours, Foreshores, and Pollution Section, Marine Department, acting under a delegation from the Minister of Marine and Fisheries, pursuant to section 265A of the aforesaid Act, hereby gives notice that he approves the Taharoa Domain Board (Lake Waters Control) Bylaw 1972, made by the Taharoa Domain Board by special order and passed at a meeting held on 19 May 1972 and confirmed on 23 June 1972.
