PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Lower Hutt as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 22nd day of May 1972.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 14th day of May 1964, published in the Gazette of 28 May 1964, Volume II, p. 872, and registered as No. 595142, Wellington Land Registry, defining the middle line of a road in Blocks II, III, VI, VII, IX, and X, Hautapu Survey District, viz, a deviation of the Utiku-Mangaweka section of the Awanui-Bluff State Highway, and revoking previous Proclamation, and hereby proclaim and declare that the middle line of a road desired to be constructed over Blocks V, VI, IX, and X, Hautapu Survey District, viz, a deviation of the Toe Toe - Mangaweka section of the Awanui-Bluff No. 1 State Highway, shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall affect only the lands situated within the limits of the area bounded by broken red lines shown on the plan marked M.O.W. 26227 referred to in the Schedule hereto.
