Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation
PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the
Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is
hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for a church site for
the common use or benefit of the Ngati Irekehu Hapu.
SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land situated in Block VIII, Akaroa Survey
District, and described as follows:

Being
0 0 21 Section 9B Maori Reserve 886 (Onuku); as created
by partition order dated 17 February 1971.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

meeting place and recreation ground for the common use and
benefit of those members of the Ngaitahu Tribe residing in
the Kaiapoi and Tuahiwi Districts.

ALL that piece of land situated near and adjoining the
Amberley Beach Domain, Teviotdale Survey District, and
described as follows:

10 0 0 Waimaiaia 899 fishery easement created by Maori
Land Court order dated 14 July 1887.

Maori Land Development Notice
WHEREAS by virtue of the notice referred to in the First
Schedule hereto the land described in that notice was declared
to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori
Affairs Act 1953; and whereas it is desired to release a certain
parcel of that land from the provisions of the said Part XXIV:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs
Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as
follows.
NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development
    Notice Hamilton 1972, No. 12.
  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is
    hereby amended by omitting all reference to the land described
    in the Second Schedule hereto.
  3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is
    hereby released from the provisions of Part XXIV of the
    Maori Affairs Act 1953.

    Maori Land Development Notice
    WHEREAS by virtue of the notices referred to in the First
    Schedule hereto the land described in those notices was
    declared to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the
    Maori Affairs Act 1953; and whereas the appellations of
    certain parcels of the land have been changed by subsequent
    order of the Maori Land Court; and whereas certain parcels of
    the land have since been released from the provisions of Part
    XXIV aforesaid; and whereas it is desired to replace the notices
    aforesaid by further notices referring to the balance of the
    land under the current appellation:
    Now, therefore, pursuant to section 330 of the Maori Affairs
    Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as
    follows.
    NOTICE
  4. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development
    Notice Hamilton 1972, No. 13.
  5. The notices referred to in the First Schedule hereto are
    hereby revoked, being replaced to the extent necessary by
    notices issued contemporaneously with the notice as set out in
    the Second Schedule hereto.
