WHEREAS by Maori Land Development Notice Hamilton 1972,
No. 13, certain notices under Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs
Act 1953 are revoked:

Now, therefore, in partial replacement of such notices, the
Board of Maori Affairs, acting pursuant to section 330 of the
Maori Affairs Act 1953, hereby gives notice as follows.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development
   Notice Hamilton 1972, No. 15.

2. The land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby
   declared to be subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act

Maori Land Development Notice

WHEREAS by virtue of the notice referred to in the First
Schedule hereto, the land described in that notice was declared
to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori
Affairs Act 1953; and whereas it is desired to release that
land from the provisions of the said Part XXIV:

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs
Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as
follows.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development
   Notice Palmerston North 1972, No. 1.

2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is
   hereby revoked.

3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is
   hereby released from the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori
   Affairs Act 1953.

Insurance Companies' Deposits Act 1953—Proposed Release
of Deposits by Public Trustee

GEO. H. SCALES LTD. of 38—42 Waring Taylor Street, Wellington,
has given notice to the Public Trustee that it has ceased
to carry on business in New Zealand in respect of all classes
of insurance business, and in particular as agent for under-
writers at Lloyd's of London, England, and that it proposes to
withdraw the deposits which it has made with the Public
Trustee, pursuant to section 3 of the above-mentioned Act.

The Public Trustee therefore gives notice, pursuant to
section 19 (3) of the above-mentioned Act, that, subject to his
being satisfied that all the liabilities of the said Geo. H. Scales
Ltd. in New Zealand in respect of all classes of insurance
business have been fully liquidated or provided for, he
proposes to release to the said Geo. H. Scales Ltd. on or after
the 31st day of May 1972, the amount deposited with him
by the said Geo. H. Scales Ltd.

Any objection to the release of the amount deposited
should be lodged with the Public Trustee at the Public Trust
Office, Lambton Quay, Wellington 1, on or before the 10th day
of May 1972.

Revoking Foreshore Licence Authorising Whangarei Auto
Co. Ltd. to Occupy a Site for a Motor Garage in Northern
Wairoa River at Dargaville

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Executive Officer,
Harbours, Foreshores, and Pollution Section, Marine Department,
acting under a delegation from the Minister of Marine
and Fisheries, pursuant to section 265A of the aforesaid Act,
hereby gives notice that the licence of 22 March 1967*,
authorising Whangarei Auto Co. Ltd. to use and occupy a
part of the foreshore and bed of the Northern Wairoa River
at Dargaville as a site for a motor garage, is hereby revoked
as the site is no longer tidal.

Licensing Cecil James Croul and Meretaka Croul to Occupy a
Site for a Wharf and Shed at Herald Island in Auckland
Harbour

PURSUANT to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, the
Executive Officer, Harbours, Foreshores, and Pollution Section,
Marine Department, acting under a delegation from the
Minister of Marine and Fisheries, pursuant to section
265A of the aforesaid Act, hereby licenses and
permits Cecil James Croul and Meretaka Croul (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include
their administrators, executors, or assigns unless the context
requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of
the foreshore and bed of the sea at Herald Island in Auckland
Harbour, as shown on plans marked M.D. 6667 and M.D.
9248 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at
Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a wharf
and shed as shown on the said plans, such licence to be held
and enjoyed by the licensees upon and subject to the terms
and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960 and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far
   as applicable, apply hereto.

2. The term of the licence shall be 2 years from the 1st day
   of June 1971.

3. The premium payable by the licensee shall be six dollars
   ($6) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be
   twenty dollars ($20).
