A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Whangarei, as from the date herein-after mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 17th day of April 1972.

Pursuant to section 175B (2) of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby vests in the Manukau City Council the land described in the Schedule hereto, which land was authorised for reclamation by Order in Council of 31 March 1969*, such land to be vested as a recreation reserve, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953.

1. This order may be cited as the Intellectually Handicapped Children's Society (Incorporated), Kapi Mana Sub-branch of the Wellington Branch, Order 1972.
2. The Intellectually Handicapped Children's Society (Incorporated), Kapi Mana Sub-branch of the Wellington Branch, an organisation approved by the Minister of Labour under section 3 of the Disabled Persons Employment Promotion Act 1960, is hereby granted exemption in respect of the sheltered workshop at Campbell House, Kenepuru Drive, Porirua, from:(a) All the provisions of every award and industrial agreement which would otherwise be applicable in respect of persons employed in that workshop; and(b) Section 34 of the Factories Act 1946 and all the provisions of the Annual Holidays Act 1944 and the Minimum Wage Act 1945.
