Alteration of Boundaries of Auckland Transport District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Auckland Transport Board Act 1928, and with the approval of the Minister of Transport, the Waitemata County Council, the Takapuna City Council, the East Coast Bays Borough Council, the Northcote Borough Council, the Manukau City Council, the Otahuhu Borough Council, and the Papatoetoe City Council, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the boundaries of the Auckland Transport District are altered by including therein the local districts or parts of local districts described in the Schedule hereto; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 31st day of March 1972.
SCHEDULE
The District comprising the City of Takapuna.
The District comprising the City of Manukau.
The District comprising the City of Papatoetoe.
The District comprising the Borough of East Coast Bays.
The District comprising the Borough of Northcote.
The District comprising the Borough of Otahuhu.
The District comprising the Green Bay County Town, the Glenfield Riding, the Albany Riding, and the Hibiscus Coast Riding in the County of Waitemata.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 28th day of March 1972.

Amending an Order in Council Merging the Supply Districts of the Taranaki Electric Power Board and the Inglewood Borough Council

THE RIGHT HON. J. R. MARSHALL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Electricity Distribution Commission Act 1967, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends clause 4 of the Order in Council dated the 16th day of March 1970 and published in the Gazette on the 25th day of March 1970, p. 499, merging the electric supply districts of the Taranaki Electric Power Board and the Inglewood Borough Council by adding after the word “hereto” the following:
“excepting all stock in hand (valued at $3,804.00) and all tools and equipment (valued at $4,669.00) as those items are shown in the Council’s Electricity Department balance sheet as at 31 March 1969.”

Extending the Boundaries of the Hawke’s Bay Catchment District

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 20th day of March 1972

PURSUANT to the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the area described in the Schedule hereto shall be included in the Hawke’s Bay Catchment District.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District comprising part of the County of Taupo containing 1.4 square miles, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at Trig. Station 4 (Pikiawatea) in Block IX, Taharua S.D., being a point on the generally southern watershed of the Waikato River and its tributaries, and proceeding southerly along a right line to Trig. Station 40 (Manawaruruku); thence due west along a right line to the aforesaid watershed; thence generally north-easterly along the aforesaid watershed to the point of commencement.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken, together with a right of way created by transfer No. 783083, and subject to the right of way reserved by Proclamation No. 508582, and a right of way reserved by transfer No. 783085, for sanitary works (disposal of refuse) purposes.

Boundaries of the Southland County and the City of Invercargill Altered

PURSUANT to the Local Government Commission Act 1967, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- This order shall come into force on the 1st day of October 1972.
- The areas described in the first Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the County of Southland and included in the city of Invercargill.
- The area described in the second Schedule hereto is hereby excluded from the City of Invercargill and is included in the County of Southland.
- The alteration of boundaries hereby made shall be deemed to have been effected under the Municipal Corporations Act 1954.
FIRST SCHEDULE
FIRSTLY, all that area in the Southland Land District, containing 16 acres 1 rood 25 perches, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the north-west corner of Section 38, Block XV, Invercargill Hundred, and proceeding easterly
