Revoking in Part a Proclamation Taking Land, Subject to a
Drainage Easement, for Soil Conservation and River Control
Purposes in Block II, Te Mata Survey District, Hawke's Bay
County

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie
Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 2nd day of
September 1971, and published in Gazette, 16 September 1971,
No. 69, at p. 1915, taking land, subject to drainage easements
and drainage rights for soil conservation and river control
purposes, in so far as it affects the piece of land containing
17.9 perches, secondly described in the Second Schedule
thereto.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this
25th day of March 1972.

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur
Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for scientific and industrial
research purposes (botany and crop research); and I also
declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and
after the 3rd day of April 1972.
SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 28.1 perches situated in
Block V, Halswell Survey District, Canterbury R.D., being
part Rural Section 1532; as the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 25548 (S.O. 9884)
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington,
and thereon edged sepia.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this
25th day of March 1972.

Wellington Education Board as a Site for a School, to be
Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education
Lands Act 1949, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and
declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being
an area vested in the Wellington Education Board as a site for
a school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and
discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but
subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affect-
ing the same at the date hereof.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT-EKETAHUNA COUNTY
SECTION 108, Town of Newman, situated in Block VI,
Mangaone Survey District: area, 1 acre, more or less. Balance
certificate of title, Volume 82, folio 110 (S.O. Plan 12661).
Section 109, Town of Newman, situated in Block VI,
Mangaone Survey District: area, 1 acre, more or less. All
certificate of title, Volume 88, folio 25 (S.O. Plan 12661).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this
22nd day of March 1972.
