Varying a Proclamation Declaring Land to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS by Proclamation dated 23 July 1971 and published in Gazette, 5 August 1971, No. 58, page 1536, the land described in the First Schedule hereto was declared to be Crown land and whereas the land district shown in that notice was incorrect now therefore as it is desired to show the correct land district notice is hereby given as follows.

NOTICE

  1. The Proclamation dated 23 July 1971 and published in Gazette, 5 August 1971, No. 58, page 1536, relating to the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby cancelled.

  2. The whole of the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be Crown land.

PURSUANT to section 11 of the Housing Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the access way described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Palmerston North and be under the control and management of the Palmerston North City Council.
