Assigning Foreshore Licence for Wharf and Bridge Sites at Otauutu

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Senior Executive Officer, Harbours and Foreshores Section, Ministry of Transport, acting under a delegation from the Minister of Transport pursuant to section 265A of the aforesaid Act, hereby gives notice that the licence granted to William Crawford Goudie on the 24th day of November 1965* to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Otauutu, Coromandel Peninsula, is hereby assigned to John Goudie.

Bylaw Fixing the Maximum Speed of Vehicles on the Auckland-Hamilton Motorway (Green Lane - Symonds Street)

BYLAW

Pursuant to section 13 of the National Roads Act 1953 and section 72 of the Transport Act 1962, the National Roads Board hereby makes the following bylaw:

  1. This bylaw may be cited as the National Roads Board Bylaw 1972, No. 3.

  2. This bylaw shall come into force on the day after the date of its publication in the Gazette.

  3. In this bylaw "vehicle" has the meaning assigned to it in the Transport Act 1962.

  4. No person shall drive or take or permit to be driven or taken any vehicle upon the Auckland-Hamilton Motorway (between Symonds Street and the motorway interchange at Green Lane) at a speed exceeding 50 miles per hour.

  5. Every person who commits an offence against this bylaw is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding $100.

This bylaw was made by resolution duly passed at a meeting of the National Roads Board held in Wellington on the 13th day of December 1972.

National Roads Board

Notice Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 15 November 1972 and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963 hereby declares that part of No. 1 State Highway (Awanui to Bluff) from a point opposite the northern boundary of Pt. Lot 1, D.P. 12745, C.T. 339/42, near Waitoa Flats, to a point opposite the eastern boundary of section 12s, Clifford Settlement, C.T. 1084/33, near Tirau, as more particularly shown on sheets 1 to 5 of plans M.O.W. 34789 and the accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works, Tauranga, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

Pursuant to section 3 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 (as amended by section 3 (1) of the Local Authorities Loans Amendment Act 1967), the undersigned Assistant Secretary to the Treasury, acting under powers delegated to the Secretary to the Treasury by the Minister of Finance, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.

Unclaimed Propertyβ€”Notice of Election by the Public Trustee to Become Manager Under Public Trust Office Act 1957, Part V

WHEREAS Richard Peter Fleming, formerly of Albany, farmer, whose last known address was at Glen Var Road, Torbay, is the owner of the property in the Schedule hereto; and whereas after due inquiry it is not known where the said Richard Peter Fleming is or whether he is alive or dead; and whereas the Public Trustee having made due inquiry does not know of any agent or administrator of the said Richard Peter Fleming in New Zealand with authority to take possession of and administer the said property; and whereas the gross value of the said property (as estimated by the Public Trustee) does not exceed four thousand dollars ($4,000) and for the purposes of subsection (2) of section 80 of the Public Trust Office Act 1957, the Public Trustee is satisfied that it is advisable in the interests of the owner of the said property that he should become the manager thereof:

Now therefore the Public Trustee, in exercise of the authority conferred upon him by the said subsection (2), hereby elects to be manager of the said property under Part V of the said Act.

SCHEDULE

All that parcel of land situate in Glen Var Road, Torbay, containing 34 perches, more or less, being Lot 1, Deposited Plan 57242, and being part Allotment 73, Parish of Okura, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 10C, folio 406, North Auckland Registry, together with the right of way over the part Lot 4 coloured yellow on Deposited Plan 52759, and subject to the fencing agreements contained in transfers 333568 and A70122.
