Land Held Primarily for the Purposes of a Public Plantation and Secondly for the Purposes of a Recreation Ground in the City of New Plymouth Set Apart for Commercial or Industrial Purposes

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of New Plymouth, having been acquired by transfer registered as No. 73564, Taranaki Land Registry.

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1952, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the said land is hereby set apart for commercial or industrial purposes as from the 11th day of December 1972.

SCHEDULE

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 17.4 perches situated in the City of New Plymouth, being Lot 2, D.P. 6141, being part Sections 721 and 722, Town of New Plymouth. All certificate of title, Volume 153, folio 112, Taranaki Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 30th day of November 1972.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Masterton, as from the date hereinafter-mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 11th day of December 1972.

SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 0.6 of a perch situated in Block I, Otauhoua Survey District, Borough of Masterton, Wellington R.D., and being part Lot 1, D.P. 22255, and being part Section 139, Masterton Small Farm Settlement; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 26686 (S.O. 28463) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 421 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, and comprised in a roadway laid out by the Maori Land Court by an order dated the 1st day of July 1971, to be road.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 22 acres 2 roods 29 perches situated in Block XVI, Puketapu Survey District, Block XIII, Karangahape Survey District, and Block I, Pukawa Survey District, being part Waituhi Kuratau 1A1B2 Block (roadway); as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 26753 (M.L. 20608) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red, edged red.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 207 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the works executed on the land described in the Schedule hereto to alter or divert a stream have been executed for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of the Hunua Road, and such works shall for all purposes be taken and deemed to have been executed under the authority of the Public Works Act 1928.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 2.3 perches situated in Block II, Opaheke Survey District, North Auckland R.D., being part Allotment 25, Hunua Parish; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked M.O.W. 26723 (S.O. 43503) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia, edged sepia.

Cancelling a Condition as to Setting Back the Building Line of the Northern Side of Portion of Newtown Avenue in the City of Wellington, Imposed by Order in Council Under Section 117 of the Public Works Act 1908

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 131 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Order in Council dated the 19th day of December 1921 and published in Gazette, No. 106, 22 December 1921, and deposited in the Land Registry at Wellington under No. 938 exempting the northern side of portion of Newtown Avenue in the City of Wellington from the provisions of section 117 of the Public Works Act 1908, subject to a condition as to the building line, by cancelling the condition as to the building line imposed by the said Order in Council.
