At the Government House at Wellington this 4th day of

Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to section 11 of the Housing Act 1955, His Excep-
lency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares
that the access way described in the Schedule hereto shall, on
and after the date of this Order in Council, vest in the Mayor,
Councillors, and Citizens of the City of New Plymouth, and
be under the control and management of the New Plymouth
City Council.
SCHEDULE
TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT
All that access way containing 5 perches situated in the City
of New Plymouth, being Lot 60, D.P. 10428. Part certificate of
title, No. C3/156, Taranaki Land Registry.

Amending an Order in Council Appointing a Non-elective
Member of the Marlborough Catchment Board

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act
1941, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
amends the Order in Council dated the 16th day of June
1969 and published in Gazette, 3 July 1969, at p. 1200,
appointing a non-elective member of the Marlborough Catch-
ment Board by deleting “the officer for the time being holding
office as scientist, Department of Scientific and Industrial
Research, Lincoln” and substituting “the officer for the time
being holding office as scientist, Department of Scientific and
Industrial Research, Nelson”.

The West Coast Electric Power District Boundary Order 1972

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 20th day of
November 1972
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to section 5A of the Electric Power Boards Act 1925
(as inserted by section 3 of the Electric Power Boards Amend-
ment Act 1963), His Excellency the Governor-General, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council,
hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
(1) This order may be cited as the West Coast Electric
Power District Boundary Order 1972.
(2) The boundaries of the West Coast Electric Power
District are hereby altered so as to include therein the area
described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
All that area in the Nelson Land District, Inangahua County,
bounded by a line commencing at the south-eastern corner of
Block III, Waitahu Survey District, and proceeding northerly
along the eastern boundaries of the said Block III, Blocks
XV, XI, VII, and III, Reefton Survey District, and Blocks
XIII, IX, and V, Inangahua Survey District, to the south-
western boundary of the Buller County, as described in Gazette,
1922, p. 231; thence south-easterly along that boundary to the
summit of the Brunner Range; thence generally southerly along
the summit of that range passing through Mount Curtis, Mount
Wynn, and Mount Pelion to the western boundary of Block
II, Burnett Survey District; thence southerly along the western
boundaries of the said Block II, Blocks VI, X, and XIV,
Burnett Survey District, Blocks II, VI, X, and XIV, Rahu Survey
District, and Block II, Lewis Survey District, to the summit
of the range between Mount Alexander and Mount Haast;
thence north-westerly along that range to Mount Haast; thence
south-westerly along a right line to the confluence of Snow
Creek with the Grey River; thence generally westerly down the
middle of that river to the eastern boundary of Block I,
Pohaturoa Survey District; thence northerly along the eastern
boundaries of the said Block I and Blocks XIII, IX, and V,
Waitahu Survey District, to the north-eastern corner of the
said Block V, thence easterly along the southern boundaries of
Blocks I, II, and III, Waitahu Survey District, to the point of
commencement. As shown on plan numbered 868 deposited
in the Head Office of the New Zealand Electricity Depart-
ment at Wellington, and thereon bordered brown.

Appointment of Chairman of the State Services Tribunal

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 13th day of
November 1972
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to section 27 of the State Services Remuneration
and Conditions of Employment Act 1969,
Francis Duncan O'Flynn, Q.C.
having been appointed the Chairman of the State Services
Tribunal for a term of 3 years commencing on the 9th day of
November 1970 and having resigned his office on the 1st day
of June 1972, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council and
on the recommendation of the Minister of State Services,
hereby appoints
John Francis Jeffries
as Chairman of the State Services Tribunal to fill the vacancy
so created on and from the 13th day of November 1972 for
the residue of the term for which his predecessor has been
appointed, which term expires on the 8th day of November
1973.
