WAIPUKURAU BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Waipukurau Borough Storm Water Drainage Loan No. 1, 1971, $25,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waipukurau Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the principal and interest repayments on the Waipukurau Borough Storm Water Drainage Loan No. 1, 1971, $25,000, authorised to be raised by the Waipukurau Borough Council for the purpose of enlarging and extending the drainage disposal system, the Waipukurau Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal one nought two five cents (.1025c) in the dollar ($) on all rateable property in the Borough of Waipukurau (on the basis of the unimproved value), such special rate to be an annually recurring rate for a term of 25 years or until the loan is fully repaid.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Electricity Renewal Loan No. 3, 1971, and Airport Renewal Loan No. 2, 1971

Resolution Passed by the Dunedin City Council on Monday, 15 November 1971

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Dunedin City Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the renewal loans detailed in the Schedule hereunder, authorised to be raised by the Dunedin City Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of refinancing previous loans maturing on 15 February 1972, the said Dunedin City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.493c in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the City of Dunedin, comprising the whole of the City of Dunedin, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of six (6) and ten (10) years, or until the loans are fully paid off.

SCHEDULE

(a) Electricity Renewal Loan No. 3, 1971, $128,800.
(b) Airport Renewal Loan No. 2, 1971, $108,400.

We hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of the resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the above-mentioned date.

Waterworks Loan 1971, $140,000

Resolution Passed at a Meeting of the Auckland City Council Held on the 10th Day of November 1971

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amend- ment, and regulations thereunder, and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of one hundred and forty thousand dollars ($140,000) to be known as the Waterworks Loan 1971, $140,000, which amount is proposed to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of carrying out new water supply reticulation and upgrading the existing reticulation system, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of point nought six eight of a cent (.068c) in the dollar ($) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property (of Auckland City) comprising the whole of the City of Auckland, and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the said loan or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Library Additional Loan No. 2, 1971, $90,000

Resolution Passed at a Meeting of the Auckland City Council Held on the 10th Day of November 1971

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendment, and regulations thereunder, and of all other powers thereby enabling it, the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of ninety thousand dollars ($90,000) to be known as the Library Additional Loan No. 2, 1971, $90,000, which amount is proposed to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of meeting the additional costs of constructing a central library building, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of point nought one nine two of a cent (.0192c) in the dollar ($) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property (of Auckland City) comprising the whole of the City of Auckland, and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the said loan or until the loan is fully paid off.”
