Pursuant to section 2 of the Land Drainage Amendment Act 1920, the Minister of Internal Affairs hereby publishes the following special order made by the Hauraki Plains West Drainage Board.

SPECIAL ORDER
In pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred on it by the Land Drainage Act 1908 and the Land Drainage Amendment Act 1920 and all other powers it thereunto enabling, the Hauraki Plains West Drainage Board doth hereby:

1. Eliminate and revoke the subdivisions formerly known as the Ngatea-Pipiroa South Subdivision, Ngatea-Pipiroa Central Subdivision, and the Puhanga Island Subdivision and in place thereof doth hereby divide such former areas named the Ngatea-Pipiroa South Subdivision, Ngatea-Pipiroa Central Subdivision, and the Puhanga Island Subdivision into three separate subdivisions to be known as:

Area No. 1—the South Subdivision and the Ngatea-Pipiroa Central Subdivision; and
Area No. 2—the Ngatea-Township Subdivision

bounded as described respectively in the Schedule hereto.

2. Fix the number of trustees to be elected for each of the said new subdivisions as one trustee for each new subdivision.

3. This special order and the alterations made thereto shall come into force and effect on the 1st day of July 1971.

Declaring Land in the South Auckland Land District to be Crown Land Subject to the Land Act 1948
Pursuant to the Coal Mines Act 1925, the Minister of Mines hereby gives the following notice.

All that area in the South Auckland Land District, in the Hauraki Plains County, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the left bank of the Piako River in line with the southern boundary of Section 63, Block I, Waihou Survey District, and proceeding generally southerly along that bank to a point in line with the northern boundary of Part Section 24, Block I, Waihou Survey District; thence westerly to and along that boundary to the eastern boundary of Part Lot 2 of Section 35, Block I, Waihou Survey District; thence northerly along that boundary to the south-western corner of Lot 1, D.P. S. 1617; thence northerly along the western boundary of another Part Lot 2 of Section 35 aforesaid (Secondary School, New Zealand Gazette, 1965, p. 1851) and its production to a point in line with the southern boundary of the drainage easement adjoining the southern boundary of Lot 3, D.P. 16803, as shown on S.O.
