The Traffic (Balclutha Borough and Bruce County) Notice No. 2, 1971
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Balclutha Borough and Bruce County) Notice No. 2, 1971.
  2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
  3. The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.
  4. So much of the notice under section 3 of the Motor Vehicles Amendment Act 1936, dated the 20th day of December 1937†, as relates to Balclutha Borough, is hereby revoked.
  5. The traffic (Balclutha Borough and Bruce County) Notice No. 1, 1971, dated the 8th day of August 1971‡ under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, as relates to Balclutha Borough and Bruce County, is hereby revoked.
    FIRST SCHEDULE
    SITUATED within Balclutha Borough:
    No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) (from a point 1 chain measured south-westerly generally along the said State highway from Michie Road to the south-western boundary of Balclutha Borough and from the eastern boundary of Balclutha Borough to a point 16 chains measured westerly generally along the said State highway from the said eastern boundary).
    No. 91 State Highway (Balclutha-Kaitangata) (from the south-eastern boundary of Balclutha Borough to Ipswich Street).
    No. 92 State Highway (Balclutha-Invercargill) (from the southern end of High Street to the southern boundary of Balclutha Borough).
    Hasborough Place (from Pakefield Street to the western boundary of Balclutha Borough).
    SECOND SCHEDULE
    SITUATED within Balclutha Borough and within Bruce County adjacent to Balclutha Borough:
    No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) (from a point 1 chain measured south-westerly generally along the said State Highway from Michie Road to the south-western boundary of Balclutha Borough and from a point 16 chains measured south-westerly generally along the said State highway from the eastern boundary of Balclutha Borough to a point 13 chains measured easterly generally along the said State highway from the said eastern boundary).

The Traffic (Buller County) Notice No. 1, 1971
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Buller County) Notice No. 1, 1971.
  2. The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 40-miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.
  3. The notice under the Motor Vehicles Amendment Act 1936, dated the 3rd day of February 1949†, and the notices under the Transport Act 1949, dated the 6th day of October 1958‡ and the 10th day of April 1958§ respectively, which relate to Buller County, are hereby revoked.
    SCHEDULE
    SITUATED within Buller County adjacent to Westport Borough:
    Orowaiti Road (from the No. 67 State Highway (Westport-Karamea) to the eastern boundary of Westport Borough).
    No. 67 State Highway (Westport-Karamea) (from Domett Street to the east end of the Orowaiti River Bridge).
    SITUATED within Buller County at Waimangaroa:
    No. 67 State Highway (Westport-Karamea) (from a point 25 chains measured south-westerly generally along the said State highway from the Waimangaroa-Denniston Road to a point 10 chains measured north-easterly generally along the said State highway from the said road).
    Waimangaroa-Denniston Road (from the No. 67 State Highway (Westport-Karamea) to a point 48 chains measured easterly generally along the said road from the said point).

  2. The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
  3. The notice under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, dated the 15th day of August 1963, which relates to Eyre County is hereby revoked.
