WAITOMO COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR QUARRY
NOTICE is hereby given that the Waitomo County Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to
execute a certain public work, namely the operation of a quarry
for road metal, and for the purposes of such public work, the
land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken.
Notice is hereby given that a plan of the land so required
to be taken is deposited in the public office of the County
Clerk of the Council, situated in Te Kuiti, and is there open
for inspection by all persons without fee during ordinary
office hours. Every person affected by the execution of the
said public work or the taking of the said land should, if they
have any objection to the execution of the said work or the
taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount
or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and
send the written objection to the County Clerk, Waitomo
County, Alexandra Street, Te Kuiti, within 40 days from the
first publication of this notice. If any objection is made in
accordance with this notice, a public hearing to the objection
shall be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each
objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

BAY OF ISLANDS COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD AND SEVERANCE
NOTICE is hereby given that the Bay of Islands County Council
intends, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to
take the parcels of land described in the Schedule hereto for
road. And notice is hereby further given that plans showing the
parcels of land proposed to be taken is deposited at the office
of the said Council situated at Main Road, Kawakawa, and
may there be inspected without fee during ordinary office
hours. All persons affected by the taking of the said parcels of
land and who have an objection thereto, not being an objection
as to the amount of compensation, must state their objections in writing and send the same to the County Clerk, Bay
of Islands County Council, P.O. Box 11, Kawakawa, so as to
reach him not later than 40 days after the first publication of
this notice. If any objection is received, a public hearing of the
same will be held unless the objector requires otherwise, and
each objector will be advised of the time and place of such
hearing.

MARLBOROUGH CATCHMENT BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Kaikoura Staff Housing 1970 and Supplementary 1971
Combined Loan, $14,300
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the
Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Soil Conservation
and Rivers Control Act 1941 and all other powers in that
behalf enabling, the Marlborough Catchment Board hereby
resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing security for the payment
of principal and interest on a loan of $14,300, authorised
to be raised by the Marlborough Catchment Board under the
above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of purchasing land
and constructing staff houses at Kaikoura, the said Board
hereby makes a special rate of decimal point nought nought
one two four nine cents (.001249c) in the dollar upon the
rateable capital value of all rateable property in the Marl-
borough catchment district; and that such special rate shall
be an annually recurring rate, payable on demand during
the currency of such loan, or until the loan is fully paid off."
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed
at the meeting of the Marlborough Catchment Board held on
the 14th day of September 1971.

WAIPA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Rural Housing Loan No. 13, 1971, $200,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waipa
County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges
on a loan of $200,000, authorised to be raised by the Waipa
County Council under the provisions of the above-mentioned
Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of
the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Waipa County Council
hereby makes a special rate of 0.042c in the dollar on all
the rateable property in the County of Waipa, and that
