PUBLIC notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the Bay of
Plenty Electric Power Board held on the 19th day of October
1971 the following resolution was passed:
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Bay
of Plenty Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on the
loan of $400,000, authorised to be raised by the Bay of Plenty
Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act, for the
purpose of the further reticulation of its area and general
extension and improvement of the supply of the Board's district,

special rate of point two nought four four cents (.2044c) in the

County Council at a meeting of such Council held on the
15th day of October 1971.
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Featherston County Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of $115,500, called the Roads and Bridges Loan 1970,
authorised to be raised by the Featherston County Council
under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, for the con-
structing and reconstructing of roads, culverts, and bridges in
the County of Featherston, the said Featherston County Council
hereby makes a special rate of 0.15046c in the dollar upon
the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of
all rateable property of the whole of the County of Feather-
ston; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the
17th day of July in each and every year during the currency
of the loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is

purpose of repaying on maturity, those portions of the Sewer
Drainage Reticulation Loan 1960, which matures on the 21st
