PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie
Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street and shall vest in
the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Whangarei,
as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare
that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 1st
day of November 1971.

PURSUANT to section 175 (3) of the Harbours Act 1950, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises
the Wellington Harbour Board to reclaim from the sea at
Lambton Harbour an area of 2 roods and 34.3 perches, more
or less, of Crown land as shown in red on plan M.D. 14120
and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wel-
lington.
