HAMILTON CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hamilton City Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $20,000, authorised to be raised by the Hamilton City Council under the above Act, for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Sewer Loan 1957, $263,200, balance of $113,200, part $15,200, which matures on 1 October 1971, and the Streets Loan 1961, $200,000, Issue No. 1 of $40,000, part $18,000, which matures on 1 December 1971, the said Hamilton City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nought three seven of a cent (.0037c) in the dollar ($) on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the City of Hamilton, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on the 1st day of April of each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Hamilton City Council held on the 11th day of August 1971.

MOUNT ROSKILL BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Roads Reconstruction Redemption Loan, 1971, $19,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Mount Roskill Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing interest, principal, and other charges on a loan of nineteen thousand dollars ($19,000), authorised to be raised by the Mount Roskill Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for repayment of $19,000 borrowed for the purpose of roading works, due and payable on 25 January 1972, the said Mount Roskill Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal nought nought seven five of a cent (.0075c) in the dollar ($) upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of Mount Roskill, and that the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and to be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being for a period of ten (10) years or until the loan is fully paid off." Passed at a meeting of Council held on the 5th day of October 1971.

TAKAPUNA CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Water Reticulation Redemption Loan No. 2, 1971, $14,800

In pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Takapuna City Council resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on the Water Reticulation Redemption Loan No. 2, 1971, $14,800, authorised to be raised by way of special loan under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Water Reticulation Loan 1954, of $280,000, which matures on 21 December 1971, the Takapuna City Council makes a special rate of decimal nought nought three seven cents (.0037c) in the dollar ($) on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property in the City of Takapuna, and that such special rate shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of fifteen (15) years, or until the loan is fully paid off." The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Takapuna City Council held on the 21st day of September 1971.

CITY OF MANUKAU

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Roading Loan 1971, $200,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Manukau City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of $200,000, authorised to be raised by the Manukau City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing roads, footpaths, and associated works and cost of raising the loan within the City of Manukau, the said Manukau City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought two two cents (.022c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property of the City of Manukau, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years or until the loan is fully paid off."

WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Redemption Loan No. 13, 1971

THAT, whereas the sum of $14,200 borrowed by the Waitemata County Council under the Water Supply Development Loan No. 2, 1960, $400,000 is due and payable on 19 December 1971, and whereas the sum of $10,900 is required to pay for the said loan, the Waitemata County Council, in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, hereby resolves:

(a) To borrow the sum of $10,900 for the purpose of repaying the said loan.

(b) That the sum of $10,900 shall be payable on the 1st day of December 1991 or such earlier date as may be determined by Council.

(c) That for the purpose of providing interest, principal, and other charges on the Redemption Loan No. 13, 1971, the said Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.001c in the dollar on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within the County of Waitamata, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate through the currency of the loan and payable yearly on the 1st day of June each year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years or until the loan is fully paid off.

(d) That authority be granted to gazette this resolution.

WANGANUI-RANGITIKEI ELECTRIC POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric Power Board hereby resolves:

"That for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest and repayment charges and all other expenses on the Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric Power Board's Redemption Loan 1971 of $50,000 to be raised pursuant to the above-mentioned Act, the said Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal nought nought three seven of a cent (.0037c) in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all the rateable property in the Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric Power Board district, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the aforesaid loan, and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of February in each and every year during the currency of the said loan but not exceeding a period of 10 years."

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric Power Board held on 5 October 1971.
