NOTICE is hereby given that the Rangitikei Catchment Board proposes under the Public Works Act 1928 and the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, to execute a certain public work, namely, the construction of a stopbank for soil conservation and river control and for the purposes of that public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken: And notice is hereby further given that the plan showing the land required to be taken is deposited in the office of Messrs Evans, Easther, Harris, and Goodman, Solicitors, 335 Wellington Road, Marton, and is there open for inspection without fee, during ordinary office hours.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Marlborough County Council proposes under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely the realignment of a portion of the Croissilles-French Pass Road within the County of Marlborough; and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk of the Council situated in Blenheim, and is there open for the inspection to all persons during ordinary office hours. NELSON HARBOUR BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 the Nelson Harbour Board hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the Redemption Loan No. 3, 1971, of $25,700, authorised to be raised by the Nelson Harbour Board for the purpose of supplementing the appropriate portion of the accumulated sinking funds of thirty thousand six hundred and twenty dollars so as to redeem at maturity those parts of the Port Development Loan 1960, and the Port Development Loan No. 2, 1962, which mature on 1 December 1971, the said Nelson Harbour Board hereby makes the special rate of $0.000025 in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) on all rateable property of the Nelson Harbour Board district (being the district as constituted prior to the passing of the Nelson Harbour Board Order 1968), and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 15 years or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a resolution passed by the Nelson Harbour Board on the 16th day of August 1971.
