NOTICE is hereby given that a meeting of the creditors in the

Thursday, the 7th day of October 1971, at 9 o'clock in the
forenoon.

CARDRONA INVESTMENTS LTD. (in voluntary liquida-
tion, members' winding up):

By entry in the minute book of the above-named company, on
the 23rd day of September 1971, the following special resolu-
tion was duly passed viz:

That the company be wound up voluntarily and that Jacob
John Craig, of Auckland, chartered accountant, be appointed
liquidator for the purposes of such winding up.

NOTICE is hereby given that the following resolution was passed
by the company on 23 September 1971:

That, the company cannot by reason of its liabilities, con-
tinue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same,
and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily,
and that Heaton Robertson Drake, chartered accountant, be
and is hereby appointed liquidator for the purposes of such
winding up.

A meeting of creditors will be held at 2 p.m., on Friday,
1 October, 1971, in the Automobile Association Rooms, Halifax
Street, Nelson, to receive and consider a full statement of the

NOTICE OF MEETING OF CREDITORS

IN the matter of the Companies Act 1955, and in the matter
of SHARDON HOTELS LTD.:

NOTICE is hereby given that by an entry in its minute book
signed in accordance with section 362 (1) of the Companies
Act 1955, the above-named company, on the 20th day of
September 1971, passed a resolution for voluntary winding up
and appointed Harold Robert Saunders, of Masterton,
chartered accountant, as liquidator. And that a meeting of the
creditors of the above-named company will be held, pursuant
to section 284 of the Companies Act 1955, at Arden House,
Bannister Street, Masterton, on Thursday, the 30th day of
September 1971, at 11 o'clock in the forenoon, at which meet-
ing a full statement of the position of the company's affairs
together with a list of creditors and the estimated amount of
their claims will be laid before the meeting, and at which
meeting the creditors, in pursuance of section 285 of the said
Act, may nominate a person to be the liquidator of the com-
pany, and in pursuance of section 286 of the said Act may
appoint a committee of inspection.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD

NOTICE is hereby given that the Hawke's Bay County Council
proposes to carry out deviation works on the Waimarama
Road and for the purposes of or in connection with such
public works the land described in the First Schedule hereto is
required to be taken for road and the land described in the
Second Schedule hereto is required to be taken for the use,
convenience, or enjoyment of a road. And notice is hereby
given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is
deposited in the public office of the Council, situate in Brown-
ing Street, Napier, and is open for inspection without fee by
all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons affected
by the execution of the said public works or by the taking of
such land should if they have any objection to the execution
of the said public works or to the taking of the said land not
being objections to the amount or payment of compensation
set forth the same in writing and send the written objection
within 40 days of the first publication of this notice to the
