Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises, Porirua District Licensing Trust

Pursuant to section 34B of the Licensing Trusts' Act 1949, I, Eric Alderson Missen, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Porirua District Licensing Trust, at a board meeting on 26 August 1971, passed the following resolution:

That the following be the hours of sale at the Trust Bottle Store, 139–145 Dowse Drive, Maungaraki:

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday—9 a.m.-12 noon; 1 p.m.-6 p.m.
Friday or any other authorised late closing shopping night—9 a.m.-12 noon; 1 p.m.-8 p.m.
Closed all day Tuesday.

Notifying the Exchange of Permanent State Forest Land in the Nelson Land District for Other Land

NOTICE is hereby given that the area described in the First Schedule hereto has been acquired as permanent State forest land by way of exchange for the area described in the Second Schedule hereto, pursuant to section 22 of the Forests Act 1949.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT—NELSON CONSERVANCY—WAIMEA COUNTY

Description of Area Acquired

SECTION 24, Block II, Motueka Survey District: area, 238 acres and 3 roods, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume 102, folio 215 (S.O. Plan 4598).

Special Order Made by Rangitikei County Council Altering Riding Boundaries

Pursuant to section 88 of the Counties Act 1956, the Acting Secretary for Internal Affairs hereby publishes the following Special Order made by Rangitikei County Council.

SPECIAL ORDER

THAT in exercise of the powers conferred on it by the relevant provisions of the Counties Act 1956 and the Counties Amendment Act 1968, the Rangitikei County Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order:

  1. That the boundaries of the Bulls Town Riding and the Rangitoto Riding be amended in accordance with the definitions in the Schedule hereto.

  2. That the alterations hereby made shall take effect on and after the 1st day of October 1971.

SCHEDULE

BULLS TOWN RIDING

All that area in the Wellington Land District being portion of the County of Rangitikei bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Rangitikei River in line with the western boundary of Lot 50, D.P. 402, in Block XI, Rangitoto S.D., and proceeding northerly along a right line to and along that boundary, the abutment of a road, and the western boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 26633, and its production to and along the western boundaries of Lot 2, D.P. 20987, and Lots 35, 34, 33, and 32, D.P. 402, to the south-eastern boundary of Lot 12, Deeds Plan 463; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundaries of Lots 12 and 11, Deeds Plan 463, to the south-eastern corner of the said Lot 11; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of Lot 8, Deeds Plan 4, to the south-eastern side of Parewanui Road; thence north-easterly along that side to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 8125; thence generally northerly to and along the south-western and north-western boundaries of the said Lot 1, to its northernmost corner and along a right line to the southernmost corner of Lot 8, D.P. 1753; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of Lot 13, D.P. 1753, to its northernmost corner; thence generally north-easterly along the north-western boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 1753, and its production to the northern side of Johnston Street, along that side to and along the north-western and north-eastern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 8526, the south-eastern and north-eastern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 5674, and the southern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 12006, to the western side of No. 3 State Highway; thence south-easterly along that side to the south-eastern corner of Lot 9, Deeds Plan 57; thence generally easterly along a right line to and along the northern boundaries of the land shown on S.O. Plan 20754 and Lot 1, D.P. 14199, and the southern and south-western boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 11827, and their production to the eastern side of No. 1 State Highway; thence northerly along that side to the south-western side of the closed road shown on S.O. Plan 15839; thence south-easterly along that side and its production to the middle of the Rangitikei River; thence south-westerly along the middle of that river to the point of commencement.

RANGITOTO RIDING

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District being portion of the County of Rangitikei bounded by a line commencing at a point on the sea coast in line with the north-western boundary of Run 19 in Block III, Koitiata S.D., and proceeding generally easterly to and along that boundary to the northernmost corner of Run 19, and along a right line to the westernmost corner of Block CCCV, Rangitikei District, along the generally northern boundaries of that block and their production to the eastern side of Santoft Road, along the eastern and southern sides of that road to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Lot 3, D.P. 14181, and to and along that boundary and its production to and along the eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 14181, and its production to the middle of No. 3 State Highway; thence again generally easterly along the middle of that highway, Pukepapa Road, Whales Line, Wellington Road, and No. 1 State Highway to a point in line with the southern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 9050, and to and along that boundary and its production to the middle of the Rangitikei River; thence south-westerly along the middle of that river to the sea coast and northerly along the sea coast to the point of commencement; excluding therefrom Bulls Town Riding hereinbefore described.
